Breakfast was good. Room was really nice and big enough to accommodate two adult and two children with one spare couch. Restaurant served various delicious food but wouldn't allow to change side dishes . This was the only one negative aspect.

Borová Lada is a small village in very nice surroundings. Do not count on the public transport, though, there is barely any. You will have to use a car for most of the trips. The village has a good pub with absolutely amazing food and very good beer, and also some sightseeing in the surrounding.
