An outstanding hotel suitable for any type of vacation. The staff is exceptionally professional, friendly, and attentive. I would like to highlight the Greek bartender at the bar, who skillfully caters to weary guests after a day of outdoor activities—undoubtedly one of the finest bartenders I've encountered in my travels across Europe.
The restaurant staff is excellent, demonstrating hard work, attentiveness, and exceptional courtesy. Special appreciation goes to Ivana, a Croatian lady whose professionalism and guest treatment are exemplary. The gym and spa facilities are of high quality. Additionally, the Sauna village, set amidst a well-maintained garden, offers multiple Sauna rooms. Kudos to Andy, the 'sauna meister,' for his exceptional skills and positive attitude. He is truly an asset to this hotel.

The town itself is not really a tourist magnet and there aren't many sights to see in the town itself, except maybe for the glass factory and museum. But the position in the Bavarian forest makes it ideal for day trips, with and without kids. And for a lazy day, there's always the Stadtpark with the playground.

Small yet charming town in the heart of the stunningly beautiful Bavarian Forest. Perfect starting point for hiking, biking, or even train journeys through the surrounding hills and meadows. The town is littered with good restaurants - both Bavarian and foreign - Greek, Italian, Thai... there is a lot to choose from.
Haus Anton is a great location to spend your holidays in Zwiesel.The apartment is close to the town center and also to the river and the Stadtpark (for those with kids). The apartment itself is on the first floor, has a living room with kitchinette and 2 bedrooms which are well sized. Each room has all the necessary furniture and the kitchinette is well equipped. The main balcony overlooks the town, offers a very nice view and you can enjoy the sunset from there. Parking is available on the premises.
The hotel is located in a beautiful area with mountains views, lots of greenery and flowers around.

The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood in Zwiesel, but close to the town center. It is large, very clean and fully equipped, with direct access to the garden.The owners live upstairs and were always very friendly and ready to help. The garden can be used fully, including the pavilion and the swing. Parking is available on the premises and is free of charge. The hosts have prepared a file with many available activities in the region and also gave us some great hiking tips.
The wellness center with spa and pool was very nice. The room (two-room suite for family) was quite spacious and the beds great for us two adults and three children. Big TVs, plenty of sofas for sitting and lounging. The staff was mostly friendly. Parking was directly in front of the hotel. We had a very nice view of the neighboring village and surrounding hills. The area was beautifully green and calm, with lots of walking trails nearby. Perfect for a relaxing getaway.
Our room was self-contained which was ideal for our stay. The pension was very clean and had lovely individual touches to make it feel homely. Doreen and Martin were amazing hosts with good humour and generosity. They made us feel very welcome and most accommodating. The breakfast each morning was amazing! Again, some lovely touches…. Messages on the eggs and Martin’s crumb collecting car! Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!
Location was great, only 15 min walk from the train station and in the hotel is in the main square. It's a 10 min train ride to the Bavarian Forest National Park and train passes are included with your stay so you can travel throughout the park. Sauna was great and the hotel restaurant was fantastic! Staff was very helpful and kind. Room was clean and had a balcony with fantastic views of the mountains around

This is a very nice hotel and I would love to come back, given the right sircumstances. The rooms was spacious, the bathroom was large and clean and the bar was nice. The breakfast was average in variation, but good in standard. The scenary was very nice and I was happy to be offered parking in front of the hotel.
Amazing location with hiking trails right at the doorstep. Very friendly host with great suggestions for activities in the area (particularly for families with children). The apartment had a great view and was very clean. Lots of space for us to move around with our toddler.
Beautiful guest house with a friendly owner. Very good for kids because of the size and terrace along with garden. Very near to Bayerischer Wald and supermarkets and restaurants. Highly recommended and we would gladly come back again.

Very good quality for what we paid, the room had a very well equipped kitchenette and it was very clean. The area is worth the visit especially thanks to its glass manufacturing history and great nature.
