Sergio is the best host ever! He is so passionate about his place and super welcoming and helpful! Beautiful sunset! Impressive Ceiba Tree!! Countless Birds and Howler Monkeys!! Close to the lake. Great Location and Bteakfast was good too! We would 100% stay again!! We had one of the Superior Rooms and it was well worth it. loved the information and direction Werner and Carlos had provided, consistently. I also loved the keyless entry - one less thing to worry about loosing while traveling. Beds are super comfortable and breakfast was superb in a nice setting as well!
We loved the hotel we stayed in (Hotel Laguna Arenal) but...
We loved the hotel we stayed in (Hotel Laguna Arenal) but there wasn't much in the area for a dinner location. Another major hotel with a restaurant was across the street but they had closed to dinner guests when we arrived (7 pm). Our only other option for food was to drive almost 10 miles into Nuevo Arenal.
