The hotel is set away from the more tourist places in an oasis of calm - if that is possible in the jungle. Rooms were very spacious and well designed, set in luscious grounds full of wildlife. The team were very friendly and the service was probably the best we found in all of Costa Rica. I would recommend anyone to stay if they want a more relaxed, authentic stay in this beautiful country

The place was lovely! Among all the hotels we stayed in during the trip, this is the first place we arrived and felt at home. The room is clean and equipped with everything you need. Very unusual place. It is rather a place for longer stay rather than for 1 night. Super large rooms- it looks like at least triple size regular ones. Beautiful garden to walk- it is also very big!

The person who gave us a massage was lovely. She did an excellent job and was very nice and friendly. The front desk people were friendly and helpful. Nice swimming pool but the bar wasn't always staffed. The property itself was lovely.

Lovely little stand alone house with a great outside area and a small private pool. We'll equipped kitchen. The two bathrooms mentioned in the description were really one bathroom and one outside toilet and shower. A little further away from La Fortuna but with a car no problem.
