I would deffinately come back. The room/bungalow was just like on pictures. Good sleep, no mosquitos:)) Salamander itself is a very nicely preserved garden or peice of rainforest with multiple trees and flowers. Among others: avocado, mango, star fruit, cocoa. Incredible experience with humming birds flying around you at breakfast as they stop by to drink nectar from flowers right next to the terrace.

We got a room upgrade to a suite which was lovely.
Dinner was good, although the entire hotel was very quiet as there were very few guests.
Breakfast was ok....nothing special.
