Very close to the ideal hotel room. Very cozy. Very spacious. Very nice staff. Amazing and comfortable pool. The room was excellent. The bed was spacious and more than big enough for two people. Everything was clean. Food in the restaurant was good and with very fast service. Breakfast was good and filling.

The Lodge is outside of Golfito, but in the countryside. But it is easy to get to by 🚖 or public transport 🚍. I also saw 🐵 in the garden. The owner from Switzerland, Walther, is great. He drove me to the Supermarket and animals sanctuary. Bath towels and hand towels are changed daily. A great place to relax. Thank you Walther 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

Beautiful location and setting. Rooms were spacious and hot showers! The garden area was teeming with life. Caman, Agouti, Coati, Cayman (!), so many beautiful birds and huge variety of frogs. Pool was lovely. Kevin the guide was fantastic, really enjoyed the night hike. Chef was excellent, food was delicious. All the staff were super friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed the stay very much but I must say that my friend is a native Spanish speaker and I do understand a lot. Do not know if the hosts speak English but they are very nice and helpful e.g. with laundry and replied to my English messages fast and unterstandable. Warm shower, comfy beds, everything was clean and I loved the typical breakfast. Had hooks in the bathroom- a first since many days.
My friend and I went duty free shopping. We had such fun.
My friend and I went duty free shopping. We had such fun. Was disappointed the hotel no longer has a bar or restaurant. We ate at Mar y Luna. Delicious. On the water. BEST margarita I've had in Costa Rica; I've lived here five years.

We visited Golfito due to its convenience to nearby wildlife viewing (particularly birding) opportunities. A car is a must for this, so if you are not renting a vehicle, this option is not recommended. The property also provides good opportunities for fishing charters. The bay has a big tidal shift and there are no beaches close by, so this is not a good location if that is what you seek.

Golfito is a very pretty area on the shores of the Golfito Bay with a variety of activities and restaurants and bars, and overall a very good range of facilities. A great base to explore the surrounding Parks and Bays and the Gulf with a ferry across to Puerto Jimenez. Good for boating, swimming, kayaking, fishing, water skiing, sailing and chilling!!

Very quiet and secluded outside of Golfito but very close to a good seafood restaurant - the chalets are small but comfortable and the property is well maintained and has lots of birds and animals with a stream running through bottom of the garden. The breakfast is served under the Bohio and is sufficient with lots of coffee and fruit. The hosts are very helpful and it’s feels like it’s a family home.Would be ideal for a small family to stay for a couple of nights.
This was good value for money accommodation for Golfito. There is lots of free parking and even though it isn't far from the main road it was quiet in the evening. The shower was fine although the amount of hot water might depend upon when you shower as this is a popular place to stay. The food in the restaurant was good and very reasonably priced.
All meals were excellent, served in the wonderful restaurant that has a vaulted ceiling yet is open at ground level. Staff were extremely helpful in arranging transport for us both to and from the hotel. Cannot fault the staff who were friendly and very efficient.
Thoroughly recommend.
This is a nice resort style hotel with a huge pool we really enjoyed with our children. The room was ok too, airconditioning worked fine, strong wifi everywhere.
The receptionists, especially Angelica were really nice and helpful.
The restaurant was really good, the prices were modest.
