We liked the hotel's green areas, the maintenance of the common areas, the breakfast, the pool and the decor. The rooms have some good sizes with a nice interior. We were most excited about the room in La Cabaña, where you can open the window in the room and where the atmosphere is very historical.

The hotel is a very nice choice if you are staying in Barranquilla. The staff really go out of their way to ensure that your stay meets or exceeds expectations. I had a few issues with my room and Carol at the front desk promptly saw that all issues were resolved to my satisfaction. She really made my stay! Jose in the evening was also very helpful. Other than that, I feel the central location is very convenient. There is a 24hr pharmacy and McDonald's right next to the hotel for any last minute needs or a quick bite. Super fast wifi, good AC, hot water in the shower.

Service was excellent..Nielson at the swimming pool was always asking how he could help and when ever i needed the Turkish bath on he would go and turn it on ..Very helpful..The last day of my stay I was rushing to get back to Cartagena and when i left the room I totally forgot my bag on the safe with my Passport ,credit cards ,and money.Mr Serrano, head of security called me to tell me that i had left the bag on the safe. He personally check the bag, put it on a plastic bag and arrange to send it to me to Cartagena. He went well beyond his duty..I am very thankful with him..I am very happy with the service of the hotel. EXCELLENT...

Great city, with great food and a lot of tourist spots like the Carnival Museum, Restaurant la Cueva, the Zoo, the food court at the river Malecón. And close to Puerto Colombia which is a very nice beach with beautiful statues of the inmigrants that came to the once important harbor, and a Lighthouse that turns on at night.

Barranquilla should be avoided by all. The river boat service although free went up the river for 15 mins, turned round and went back. That was the exciting parts.
Forget the point where ocean meets river. No chance of ever getting there.

This is a modern, well-appointed townhouse in a gated community of 8. Located in the nice part of town on a quiet side street within walking distance of a mall/Exito. Gated with 24 hour security. Room for 6 adults (3 bedrooms). If I were ever to live in Barranquilla, I would consider buying a place like this. The rental price was a great deal, too.

Barranquilla is a lovely city close to the coast with a warm climate. There are plenty of places to shop and a lot of delicious restaurants to try. If you enjoy relaxing, eating, and shopping, then this is the place for you. Catching a taxi is easy or you can use uber.

Barranquilla is not a turistic city like Cartagena or Santa Marta, but it has its own charm. It is very organized and clean, and the people are very friendly. We really liked it a lot and hope to come back to enjoy the carnaval.
The Costa del Mar accommodation is ideal for resting, it has a location relatively close to the zoo and the Prado portal, the hotel's work team is very helpful and friendly, they helped us carry our suitcases (quite heavy) to the room that was up to the third floor), our room had a balcony and a pleasant view. In the morning the receptionist usually offers coffee which I find charming and welcoming. The bed in general is comfortable, we had good ventilation and the hotel has a kind of room that has a waterfall and various decorations.

We went during Carnival. Of course the prices were triple. We had a bad experience with the sale of illegal tickets from staff, but the hotel did push to get our money back and we did get it. It is in a very nice and safe area. Very clean. The halls echo, so you need ear plugs. We had no hot water (typical). And no shower head🤔. The room is essentially a box. The young gal at the front desk was great. Oh! And a super great kitchen that was new and very usable!

Very friendly staff and nice small hotel. All clean and nice rooms. Breakfast is very good and lovely prepared. The only disadvantage here is, that at the start of breakfast at 6 many things not ready on the buffet and best only after 7 am as then all is there.

The location was good for the Carnival as all the main attractions were walkable, especially at night.

Nothing. Hotel canceled our booking. I booked almost 7 months in advance and when I arrived they said our booking had been canceled...not true. They just rented our rooms out for almost 7x the price due to it being Carnaval.
