At first, I accidentally discovered this hotel, and after reading many reviews, I thought it should be pretty good. I also made a reservation for three nights with some nervousness. After arriving, I found that it really has a sense of design and is a tasteful hotel. The overall style is quite warm, giving people a very comfortable feeling. The hotel slippers are the most comfortable hotel slippers I have ever used, none of them! Although breakfast may not be as luxurious as a five-star hotel, it is also well matched and comfortable to eat! The hotel staff are also very professional and can feel their proactive service.

In 20 years the lovely, quiet and quaint town of Lijiang has developed like no other, become a tourist magnet (seemingly mostly for Mainland Chinese tourists) and has almost completely lost its charm... unless you wake up early and walk in the deserted streets at sunrise (before 8am). From morning onward it is choking with tourists, even in low season (can't imagine high season !!), discos at night become restaurants during the day, and the whole place is just guesthouses, retail shops and restaurants. Even old ladies selling strawberries can't give change on 20 yuan and ask for payment by AliPay or WeChat Pay!!
Shuhe and Baisha are no better, victim of their "heritage" status that has completely destroyed the soul of those places.
Luckily, with electric cars and electric scooter the air is fairly pure and the sky still blue. It makes for nice photos, but forget originality. A very good example of a UNESCO Heritage site that has become a victim of its success... go and visit before it's even worse, but in low season please............

The staff were fantastic.
The staff were fantastic. In particular the manager Joye accommodated every request we made and did it with a smile and genuine sense of friendship.
We needed some complicated forward planning and both travel and accommodation reservations to be made. Mr Joye assigned a very nice, intelligent and competent young lady named Cassie who did an amazing job and we are now traveling again with all of her advice and recommendations proving to be excellent.
We would throughly recommend using this, and most of the staff speak English.

It was a nice ancient town to walk round and was very picturesque.
The good thing was that it was car free. Unfortunately the shops sell most of the same things. The places to visit around Lijiang were easy to visit by car.

Lijiang is a wonderful town.
Lijiang is a wonderful town. A great place to get a glimpse of China's past. The Local Naxi people are colourful and friendly. Beautiful sights all within walking distance of the Old Town. Highly recommended.
Great Yunnan traditional food in the Old Town at "Yun Xue Li" (Yunnan Snow Lijiang) - 云南省丽江市古城区七一街兴文巷95号
A great vegetarian buffet (at only 18RMB per person) in the new town is Auspicious Vegetarian Restaurant Building 6, Jinkai Plaza Complex Building, Gucheng district. This is about 10 minutes walk from the North gate of the Old town.

The Old Town is ok for a walk through, but it's really touristed. The original old town is still there, but it's not that will maintained. If you're going to higher altitude, use it as a stop over.
Don't worry, it's the right thing to do. The experience is excellent. In short, I highly recommend everyone to come and have a great check-in experience. The price is reasonable, and we will come back again next time. The price is suddenly discounted, much cheaper than directly spending at a sports store. It's really cost-effective! I must give you a perfect score. The boss is very kind and offers free room upgrades. Everyone in the family is very happy to stay, and Lijiang is very beautiful
this Lijiang trip was the best in mine. especially, stayed this hotel was lucky. staff who is host was so kindly guy also he gave a comfortable to me like a friend. all of thing include room was so clearn. also WIFI was so fast with safty. addtionaly, this hotel is in old town that means you can easily look around the old town by walk. if you visit this hotel you will missing after back to your home.
Besides it’s great old town location, and spacious rooms with luxurious beds, it’s the staff at Xilu Xiaoxie that are the most fantastic. From helping us navigate the maze-like streets of Lijiang, to recommending great restaurants, to helping with other travel issues, Joye and his team went the extra mile. We left with great memories and gratitude for the time we spent there!
The room decoration is super nice, perfectly matching my expectations for the antique style of Lijiang, but I forgot to take photos. There is also a very spacious courtyard inside, where you can sit and enjoy the breeze. I really like this comfortable feeling! The boss was also kind and warmly recommended us the ancient town's travel routes and delicious flower cake shops.
The hotel is really lovely and tucked away from all the noise of the old town. Jessy was so lovely and helpful contacting us before the trip and also helping us to arrange the next part of our trip! We will be returning to lijiang for one night and will definitely stay here again! The rooms and lovely and comfortable and well looked after! Thank you Jessy!
We enjoyed our stay at Lijiang. The hotel is at good location because it’s close to the main road and walkable to the ancient city. The staff is friendly and supportive. He replied me very quick. His English is also good and he helped us whenever we need.
The room is tidy and clean, we enjoyed the services and atmosphere of the ancient city
One of the coolest hostels I've ever stayed! It is very big and with several places, has a beautiful terrace with views for mountains. And stay at the Old Town of Shuhe. I particularly liked the Old Town of Shuhe than Lijiang. A very good place to meet people and make friends. The people who work there were very helpful.
Nothing but good things to say about this wonderful hotel. The staff is exceptional, providing great hospitality. The room is very spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable. The location is perfect, near the old town of Lijiang.I will surely be back in the future if I return to Lijiang.
The location was very nice and quiet, far from the noise but short walking distance to the attractions in the ancient city. The owner is very friendly and helpful, Amy helped us to organize the transportation and day trip around Lijiang. The room is big, comfortable and well designed.
The property is very cute, proper Chinese guest house in the middle of Lijiang old town. Despite the fact that was a very busy period of the year, Golden Week, the facility is located in a quite corner away from the crowd. Great is also the fact that it is close to the main market.
Hotel manager was so nice and helpful. Gave me some suggestions and a map of Lijiang which areas to go and which places to avoid because of crowds. The hotel is in a quieter area of old town and it feels nice after the bustle of everywhere else.
A charming and quaint small inn within the Lijiang Old Town, where the owner XiXi went out of her way to make sure she could assist you with anything you needed e.g. drivers, taxis, restaurant, and shopping recommnedations, etc.
Comfortable and modern rooms, beautiful hotel. The staff was great and helpful. They took the time to help us looking for the transport to Tiger leaping gorge and buying the tickets, we really appreciated it.
Good location
Location is very good.walkable to old town
The room is wide and clean.
Staff is so nice and helpful. If you have to leave early in the morning they can help you pack the breakfast to take away.
