A very charming little castle just above Lake Constance nestle in a beautiful garden, walking distance to the lake.
The rooms a spacious and very clean, the bed very comfortable.
Don't miss out on the excellent restaurant! The 4 course menu is an absolut must! Modern German kitchen from local produce. Delicious! The service is very friendly and accommodating! Same goes for the breakfast: very friendly service and local breads, marmalades and cheeses.
Breakfast was great. It had everything for a nice Buffet breakfast. Dinner was very good too. And the staff were super friendly and helpful
The location was close to an entrance to the bike trail which we thoroughly enjoyed biking on. Also the hotel sits right on the shore of the lake with lovely views
Stayed for one night, as I had to catch a flight the next morning at 6am at Altenrhein Airport.
Didn't really check the hotel before booking (only chose as it is in walking distance to the small airport). I was pleasantly surprised with the room size, cleanliness and atmosphere.
The view to the lake, an early morning swim in the lake, the terrace and the friendliness (also to our kids) of part of the personnel. The hotel is located next to a bar where a dj was playing music until 10:30 pm (nice music!)
