I have stayed here before and the biggest advantage of this hotel is the location next to the funicular to the railway station. But it is also perfectly located in the center of Lugano's old town.
They have rooms with 3 beds which was perfect for this stay.

We had a fantastic stay, myself, my wife and our 3 dogs (two Labrador’s and a Great Dane cross Saint Bernard). Only had to pay 100chf for the dogs in total for the night. They had also left out 3 dog beds big enough for all our dogs and a little treat bag for each of them, they were incredibly accommodating. For dog owners it’s a perfect hotel to stay at.
The family-run Hotel Delfino has a privileged location close to the lake shore and next to the pedestrian area which leads into the heart of the city of Lugano.

The location is close to everything. Just mins. From the train station. No steps, just gentle slope, which helps when you have luggages with you.

Ideally located in the heart of Lugano but just a short hop on the funicular from the main train station. Small, but very well appointed, comfortable room with spacious bathroom. Checkin was very smooth with a delightful receptionist, and as our rooms were ready we were able to check in early. Would definitely stay here again.

Located on the mountains with a superb view, the traveller has to prepare itself to face a lot of curves and have a reliable car. There is also a bus to bring you there, but is all worth. The spectacular view and the feeling of freedom, the beautiful lake and the sunshine in the morning all give a big bonus to your trip.
The property offered 2 fantastic terraces with amazing views of Lake Lugano. The property is up on the mountain, but an excellent bus service stops within 1 minute walk of the property making lake access very easy (if not wanting to drive).
The bedrooms and bathroom were all clean and decor was modern.
Fabio was amazing and always contactable, responding to all of our questions via WhatsApp.
Perfect location, wonderful Rovio feeling in old building with Generoso view. All you need is there, very clean and if there is something else you need Katya and Emilio will sort it (adaptor plug in our case!) You get also a lot of info about the village - highly recommended.

Parking was easy and check in and check out was easy as well. Our host was very nice and welcoming. You get what you pay for.
Excellent view, I worked there for the first days, very relaxing and productive. 20 chf for my dog for the whole stay was reasonable, som hotels charge per day. In late september evenings still mild enough to stay outside late.
