Location is perfect (like 10 minutes walking distance from the main train station of Zurich). You get what you see in the picture. Ideal for solo travelers or maybe couple for 1-2 nights. Easy check-in system (although it is important to remember that there is no reception so I don't really know what can happen if there are troubles)
Also easy and accessible storage room for the luggage before checking or after checkout.
Hotel Scheuble is set in the heart of Zurich, just a few steps away from the main train station. Zurich Airport can be reached in 25 minutes.

We arrived an hour before check in time but we were told we could have our room early which was nice.
The location was good for us in the older part of the city, between Zurich train station and the boat quay. It took us only 8 minutes to walk from the train station to the hotel with our cases.
Easy to walk from the hotel around that part of the city, or numerous tram stops if going further afield which we also did.
Lots of restaurants and cafes in the area to suit all tastes.
Continental breakfast was fairly basic but adequate and a lovely lady was there each morning to cook eggs in any way you choose.

Beautiful historic building right on the lake front. Excellent friendly helpful staff especially Claire. Cozy lounge. Delicious restaurent where Thomas Mann, Vladamir Lenin and Carl Jung atr. Museum quality art and furnishings. Walking distance to Jung Institute and easy access to train station. Wonderful view. It is not just famous hotel, it is an experience.
We keep coming back to this hotel, due to its location, beautiful scenery, nice walks in the area and the river close-by, the comfortable rooms. Still it is only 4 stops (10 minutes) to the center of Zurich.
This time the variety of the breakfast has improved and it was served in a beautiful ball room which gave a different touch. Very helpful team.

Amazing hotel really nice view. But please install air-condition. There is NO aircondition in any room and when it’s 30 degrees out it’s like 50 degrees in the room, impossible to sleep. It would make the hotel totally perfect with air conditioning.

Classy hotel, right on the water. Shady place to sit by the water, right by the Kusnacht ferry landing, maybe one block from a train station. The staff were super friendly, and breakfast was great! We stayed in a room with a loft, and it was a huge hit with my family.

We love the hotel that is why we returned. But this time our room was not what we expected sadly.
My husband had a back operation and there was a step beetween bedroom and rest of room and barely a sea side view which we had booked etc
Friendly welcome, nice accommodation and large rooms fully meeting our expectations. Parking available. Hotel next to lake offers great views. Close to train station offering easy access to Zurich downtown in 10 to 15mins max.
The staff is exceptionally helpful and polite. We arrived from the US and checkin was not for another 3 hours- they worked as fast as they could and in the meanwhile allowed us to enjoy the rest of the hotel.
It was amazing and the staff were so nice and friendly.
If I’ll come back, it will be because the staff and the facilities around and in the hotel.
