Cosy and clean. Great starting point for hikes in the Maggia valley. Excellent bus connection - every 30 min to other villages in the valley and to Locarno train station. Price as agreed on booking.com. Sometimes a bit loud from the street. Mattresses are ok but not for sensitive backs. Communication in Italian works fine via email and google translate.

The house is located in a small picturesque village with breathtaking views. It's a good starting point for great climbs and walks. What's more, it's always a few degrees cooler up there😊 However, you should be prepared for driving winding, narrow roads. It can be an adventure and we enjoyed it a lot.
