Such a quaint place. Such a lot of character. Lots to look at within the building. Breakfast was good too. Parking was great, as the lake is so close you don’t have that bother. I understand it is to close down which is a real shame. Such a lovely place.

I liked that it was clean, what I didn't like was that for the price we payed we should have had better service like, more towels and coffee. Also the garbage was not taken out and there could have been more blankets.

This is the first time I have been to Rocky Mountain.
This is the first time I have been to Rocky Mountain. It was just lovely. It was bigger than I expected. So clean and so much to see. We took a little tour to Crimson Lake and what a beautiful area. If you camp there are tons of camping places. It was a real gem to find. I will recommend it to all my camping friends.
I hope to go back and stay longer. My husband was on a canoeing trip, it will be something he does again.
Just loved it all.

Small Alberta town, hard hit with the economic downturn I am sure. Has all the basics. Very nice, friendly people. Quaint main street, but many stores closed and gone. They do have a little theatre. We had good meals at Grillers and Cucina. Great place to stay if you are going to explore the surrounding area. Will return.

Short drive from Edmonton. Very close to the mountains. Lots of very good hiking trails, beautiful falls, lakes and parks. Perfect place to relax and bond with family and friends. Plenty of clean, comfortable and affordable accommodations to choose from.

A nice fairly quiet town, with many amenities and chains.
A nice fairly quiet town, with many amenities and chains. Mostly on the main strip. However there are quite a few nice places in the downtown core which is a few streets away that you would not notice if travelling through. Sadly withe the covid 19 most shops didn't seem to be open in the downtown.
The national historic site is a must.

RMH is very well located in northwest of Alberta, from there you can easily visit Crescent Falls (which is an amazing and huge water fall in Nordegg), also have a delightful day at Crimson Lake or enjoy the beach lake day at Sylvan Lake.
The city has all amenities you need, supermarkets, drug markets, warehouse stores, pubs, restaurants, and all the fast food franchises.
We have enjoyed also a bike pathways and very nice wakings, included visit to the National Historic Park and the Museum.

We only stayed in this hotel for one night. It was a very comfortable stay. We all had a peaceful sleep. Airconditiong was cool and quiet and there were more than enough pillows. We were able to use the pool and hot tub for an hour as there was still health restrictions that time. Our two little boys had a lot of fun. Another plus factor for this hotel is they provide hot breakfast which includes hash browns, waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, and toasts, and muffins. Their staff were also very helpful and very professional.
Voyageur Motel was hard to find because my sat nav directed me wrongly. It's on the main road and outside the city. It's well priced, and I chose the location for this reason as accommodation in Jasper is excessively costly. Rocky Mountain House is perhaps wrongly named because it's far from the mountains. The room had aircon, which was nice as it was hot weather. Free parking is outside the room.
It was in the right spot for a quick detour from the icefields parkway - and saved us three hundred dollars over spending a night in the overpriced places along that drive. As a bonus, we got to drive past Abraham Lak and see it - it was amazing. The hotel was very clean and super quiet all night long. Had almost everything you need in a hotel. I would recommend it.
We travel to visit cities, locations, points of interest, attractions, etc...not to visit hotels or motels. We were in RMH to go hiking in Nordegg area and needed a good inexpensive place to crash after a long day of hiking. This motel provided exactly that! A clean room, hot shower, and comfy bed. That's all we needed, that what we got.
The double room is quite large and has everything you would need in a hotel room for a business or leisure stay. It's tucked away behind some trees and backs onto a residential area so privacy is not an issue. The beds were surprisingly comfortable compared what I would expect from a hotel. It was much more than I expected for the price.
I like all about the hotel. Room is clean and bed is very comfortable.Appreciate also that there is a vendo machine and mini grocery, my son love it!:) Breakfast is good also. The staffs in front desk, lady in the breakfast area and the cleaners are very friendly too. Definitely will be back here!
We had a great time playing in the pool and water slide. The staff where very friendly and so kind to my 2.5 year old, they were very accommodating. The breakfast was very good and food replenished often. The location of the hotel was good. close to restaurants.
The court yard, bbq. The rooms faced inward to each other with lovely plants, benched. So u dont hear traffic. Quick check in. I was upgraded at no charge. Super clean! Full size fridge! Long stay available. They are my Rocky mountain house go to! Cozy duvets!!
the location, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff is always fabulous when I stay at this Canalta location. I always feel welcomed and taken care of as well as always comfortable knowing that any questions or needs I had could be accommodated.
Great value. Comfortable beds. Very clean room. Nice and quiet. The front desk gentleman was very nice. It is nothing fancy but perfect for me. I will defiantly stay here again next time I’m in Rocky Mountain House.
Easy to find, clean and accessible. I liked that they had map’s with the hotel highlighted and information booklets that I used to explore with.
Breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly.
