Stunning place but Brenda and Roger themselves make it truly special. The room was cosy and perfectly clean. The view was truly special too. Brenda and Roger prepared an outstanding delicious breakfast every day (best egg Benedict’s I ever had) and we had lovely conversations. Thank you so much for having us. We will be back.

Absolutely beautiful river valley, especially in autumn.

Absolutely beautiful river valley, especially in autumn. The locals say the best time to visit is 2 weeks before Canadian Thanksgiving, for the best fall colors. I highly recommend 'Myles from nowhere'.. the little antique shop (cash only) at the Margaree Forks intersection across from the Co-Op Grocery store. Great antique finds here. This is a beautiful area en route to the Highland Park.

The unit was very clean and comfortable and the German owner very pleasant and ready to answer vacations. It had a great pool and many different units to accommodate large families. You would need a vehicle to eat in a restaurant; dancing goat 7 minute drive away. The value is excellent for the price.

Basic accommodations but comfy other than bare flooring which results in cold feet on cool nights. Walls are thin so neighbours need to be quiet and vice versa. Eateries are no less than 10 minute drive but worth going to. Registration was prompt and friendly. Rooms are clean.

Everybody knows that GPS'S don't work in this area but nobody posts this information anywhere. Ours took us up an unpaved road for about 5K before we realized there were NO services on this road.
