Fantastic place with a HUGE bathroom. The owner was very helpful. Note: you're not allowed to bring any shellfish since someone here has life threatening allergies. Easy walk to everywhere in the city. No breakfast though so make sure you look into that if you're traveling off season. Overall a nice stay!

Breakfast was not included, but the kitchen was well stocked with necessary utensils, dishes, pots, and other materials for cooking. Best we'd seen yet.

We had a phenomenal stay at this beautiful historic inn. The room was lovely and very cozy, resulting in 2 nights of very good sleep. Lisa, The hostess made 2 different creative and filling. Lisa gave up very good touring sites advice. Would stay here again with no hesitation. Recommend this inn very highly to others.

Lunenberg, of course, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but there's almost nothing to see here. The downtown is a single street a few blocks long with a couple of mostly-empty side streets. One picture, and you are ready to move on.

Beautiful place. A must see destination.
Beautiful place. A must see destination. We only had one night and should have stayed longer. Lots of places to see. Lots of places to eat but it’s busy with tourists. We went a little off the beaten track away from the sea front and found some less busy eateries.

The most interesting item was the Fisheries Museum.
The most interesting item was the Fisheries Museum. Most of the restaurant served fried foods but we ate at The Lincoln Street Food Store which was very good. We found that the restaurants were expensive for the type of food they offered. To get around in Lunenburg was fairly easy, there are a lot of hills. I think that if we made another trip to Lunenburg we would try to get into the Art Galleries, most were closed when we were there. We would avoid most of the restaurants and try to find one that didn't serve only fried foods.

Loved this town!
Loved this town! Seeing and walking aboard the Bluenose II was great. Took the haunted tour - highly recommend. Great shopping for souvenirs but also for local artist's work. Hope to visit again!

Our visit to Lunenbur greatg was at the end of an 11 day tour of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. We definitely saved the best for last. Would have liked to have had one more day in Lunenburg. All of the restaurants were great. we ate at the Half Shell Oysters, The South Shore Fish Shack and the Smoke Pitt BBQ. Just wanderin up and down the dock side and through town looking at all the different houses was entertaining.
Large airy room, sufficiently quiet, not a lot of flat surfaces but passable, not a lot of outlets (historic property), but sufficient. Good WiFi and plumbing, mini fridge, armoire, good AC, or could open windows (screened). Pretty clean. Elevator. Central location (can go up to more shops & restaurants, or down to harbourfront area: hotel is centrally located side-to-side as well). Spa has good reviews but is booked a month+ out. Parking was across the street and in sight from room.
Very nice hotel room with king bed, well stocked kitchenette, and roomy sitting area. Large bathroom. Everything inside the building felt like it was new even though the building obviously is not. We loved the location in downtown historic Lunenburg. Close walk to everything in town. Free parking across the street.
We loved everything about it! We stayed in the Cranberry Building and had a large suite. Not only did we love our room, but we loved the complimentary breakfast. The hotel is located downtown and walking distance to restaurants and other shops. We will definitely stay here again if we are in Lunenburg!
It is perfect! In the heart of Lunenburg! Beautiful room! Great bed and bedding! Excellent climate control! Elevator (I have a heavy suitcase.) staff were very friendly & beyond helpful with parking, advice, morning coffee & croissants! Great experience here.
The Inn was located in the heart of beautiful Lunenburg with incredible views of the harbour! The rooms were very clean and everything we needed was provided by the host family. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, generous and made us feel at home!
Our room was fair sized and very clean. It offered all the amenities one would require. The location was excellent. About 1.5 km to Lunenburg. The motel is a stone's throw from a rocky beach and a couple of ponds.
Very Clean
Beautiful accomadation and very well maintained
Great location - right in the heart of Lunenburg - can walk anywhere from hotel
Close to restaurants
Would definitely stay here again
The motel was situated close to the historic area of Lunenburg, so could be easily accessed on foot. The room was comfortable. The lady, at the front desk, was extremely pleasant and helpful.
the staff is really friendly and helpful. the hotel is well located. we had a room with a closed balcony that we enjoyed very much. the room was clean and the bed comfortable
The innkeepers managed to make us feel welcome even with Covid-19 protocols in place. The inn sits at the top of Lunenburg and our room had a commanding view.
