The rooms were a good size and very clean. There are two shared bathrooms which are pretty much newly built. Overall, Cafe Acadien was a great place to stay for the night after kayaking down the Bonaventure River. There was a late afternoon storm that cut power in the town (a tree branch fell on a hydro line) so we couldn't have dinner in the restaurant, but the included breakfast the next morning was very good.
This is a lovely, older hotel, which in it's day, must have been awesome. Right on Hwy. 132. The room was nice, staff was nice. Loved the big balcony overlooking the shore of the Baie du Chaleur. We got there really early due to an unforeseen change in plans, and we were let into our room right away! Very, very kind of them. This is well worth a stay. Food in restaurant Kano was delicious!
What a beautiful location! We had a stunning sunset view from our room as we overlooked the ocean and Bonaventure marina. A quick 15 min walk along the scenic pier takes you into town with restaurants and amenities. The bed was comfortable and the rooms / shared bathrooms were clean and as advertised.
Our host was lovely and kind enough to accommodate our bicycles with secure storage.
Great location right by the sea. We loved the style of the property, which perfectly fits the surroundings. The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was also good. Overall, definitely a recommendation when staying in Bonaventure!

Ground floor rooms are where it’s at. The hotel does not look like much from the front but the back is magical. The balcony is directly on the beach. Rooms are renovated and carpetless
The hotel is right on the ocean and our room had a beautiful view and there was even a beach onsite. The restaurant Kano was fabulous with an ocean view and delicious food.
