We travelled in the fall , wonderful clear sunny days but too cool for swimming. Would love to visit in the summer when this area comes to life !
I would not recommend Miguasha Park as there is limited activity in the park and does not justify the entrance fee of $22 pp.
on the other hand the views from Mount St. Joseph are spectacular and not to be missed .

Beautiful setting along the water.
Beautiful setting along the water. Nice protected shoreline. Multiple high quality restaurants within minutes. Really nice grocery Store, batkery, coffee, and places to walk, cycle and kite surf or watch.
Fast electric car charging easily accessible. Mount St. Joseph is a short 10 minute drive to the top with beautiful sweeping views, boardwalks and trails. A place to come and enjoy to be sure.

Spacious queen room with desk, chair and sofa bed! Four pillows with nice poof. Bureau contain glass glasses (yeah!) and mugs, robes to wear and extras. Fridge was quiet. Towels were plush, and a generous size. Very clean, very comfortable, liked the wall finish. Nice fresh bathroom. Restaurant was very good (we had dinner at the restaurant (delicious and a delightful menu) and breakfast delivered to our door. Hotel and restaurant staff were cheerful, accommodating and very helpful. Would definitely stay again.
This motel is located right on the water but also right beside the highway, with limited soundproofing in other words you hear the vehicles going by all night. The room is very dated and needs some updating for the prices being charged. The beds are not very comfortable and the bathroom is very small. The view from the balcony of the water is great. When i booked for this area, this was the only hotel that i could get room at, so under those conditions it was ok for one night.
My wife and I topped off a circle seaside tour of the beautiful Gaspe Peninsula with our first stay in beautiful Carleton Sur Mer at this hotel. Pleasantly surprised by our late booking to be given a whole apartment with wonderful views and amenities. Great restaurants nearby . A true four star accommodation. Only blip was a front desk guy who seemed a little unpleasant…. maybe a bad day or language barrier issue . Highly recommended!!!
Beautiful, clean and renovated room in a lovely hotel. Comfortable bed, very nice view (no balcony). Right in front of the Baie des Chaleurs. There is a long wooden walkway right across the street that leads to the marina.

The place is clean and staff(Nathan) was very helpful. This place is in great location (Pointe Bourg) but too bad it is next to the camp site(de carleton-sur-Mer)…young people choose to go camping instead. If you feel like you need spa, you’d better go to Hotel Aquamer. I love it.
Nicely updated large room with well equipped kitchen! We enjoyed having the extra space and dining area which made it feel like a small condo instead of a hotel room. Large bright bathroom! Central to everything, including a lovely beach walk. Totally recommend.
