Very good place. To many things to see. I recommend people are nice. Is best place on Bahia if look for a place don't go to Salvador. Go to lencoes and the best place to drink is call capetaria 38 is very cheaper.

Very beautiful historic city, great restaurants all over the place. Wonderful base for hikes in the Diamantina Mountains. Book tours from local companies, without a car it is challenging to get to the trailheads; we used Diamantina Mountains as our operator and were completely satisfied !

Lençóis is a place worth getting to know. The city is safe and makes you feel like home. People are kind and will make an effort for an enjoyable stay. I was very lucky with the travel agency I picked: Nas Alturas. I highly reccomend it.
It’s definitely remote so if you don’t have a car be ready to have a difficult time with transport from town. It’s super isolated in nature but if you shop and wanna just stay in nature it’s cool. There is no pool - it’s a pond and unless you like the brown tea water of Lencois then you won’t spend time in the water. It’s not unhealthy but I’m used to clear water so it wasn’t really something we enjoyed. Again - if you’re ok with that it’s not bad - just not our style - we like clean water. The place is super cute tho!
The hotel was very clean and the breakfast options were variable. The outside patio had a few hammocks for us to lay on and had a beautiful garden with bananas and a downstairs lounge to hang out. It was a quiet hotel and it was very quaint. I really appreciate the helpfulness of this stuff when I had lost my phone and they found a driver that was going to the airport to bring it to us before our flight. They helped resolve the issue quickly and smoothly and without worry! I highly recommend this hotel.

Run by a team of well educated women hosts, we found both the quality of the venue and the warmth of the hospitality. Beyond the stay itself, you will achieve the assistance in the hiking with a choice of expeditions and of guides with or without transportation. So, think no more, if the price is in line with your budget, this is the place you wanna select for your stay in Lençois.
It was such a pleasure to spend 4 days in Lençóis at the Hospedaria Tayrona. Hosts Jonatan and Monique were extremely gracious and accommodating, the room was comfortable and quiet, and their breakfasts were the best I had during my nearly 3 week stay in Brazil. The hospedaria is just a couple of minutes on foot from the center of town with its bustling restaurants and shops. I would definitely recommend and stay again if my path (hopefully) takes to me to the area again.
Lu the owner has created a very welcoming atmosphere, I felt very comfortable there. She helped me with recommendations in Lençóis, a late check in and also sent me to a great hairdresser! I had two different rooms, both were very clean with everything I needed. Diogo and Emili who work there were great to chat to and very helpful. Duda is a local guide who runs acrobatics lessons there twice a week. I didn’t get the chance to join them, but they looked great!
This is a small, simple pousada, that is set atop a steep hill a short distance from the centre of Lencios. It is somewhat difficult to locate, but Caio will make himelf available via WhatApp to assist you find the place. The setting is spectacular in the middle of a lush hilly area. The breakfast was truly exceptional - something you would expect in a five star hotel
The whole place is really cute with nice garden, the chalets and rooms are cute although simply decorated. My room had a lovely balcony and my friends a hammock and bench on the lawn. The breakfast is good and the service is wonderful. Carieli (who takes care of everything there) is very nice and helpful, we loved her!
If you have a car you can park it inside the hotel.
Really excellent apartment! Nicely decorated and very comfortable. Clean. Kitchen extremely well equipped - even provide clean drinking water for you to refill bottles which is a super nice bonus. Secure parking. Lovely host with excellent communication. Everything about the apartment is great and if we returned to Lencois this would be our preference to stay again.
Our room was big and comfortable. The breakfast and Li, the employee who does it, where both fantastic, and the vibe of the place was very peaceful and relaxing. Laércio, the owner, is very friendly and helpful, and gave us plenty of nice recommendations for tours. The location is also really close to Lençóis center, making it easy to explore the city.
Nei, the owner was so kind and helpful. He made a delicious breakfast every morning and went out of his way to make sure we felt welcome. The room was perfect, very clean and comfortable. The location is quiet at night and just a short walk from the main square. I would absolutely stay in this pousada again if I ever returned to Lençóis.
Everything put together made this a wonderful respite for the travelling hiker. Tranquil and surrounded by greenery and impressive views. Better shower pressure than many hotels not sitauated on a rocky hillside. Hot water too! What a treat. Lovely breakfast and incredibly friendly staff. Felt very well cared for.
The breakfast was excellent, lots of home made things and fresh juice and fruits, the staff is really nice and there was hot water, which so far we didn’t have un Brazil. It’s a bit away from the centre but that’s why the garden is beautiful to chill and birds singing in the morning is nice.
I spend 4 days around new years in Hi Hostel. Everything was great : the rooms, the bathroom, the delicious breakfast and especially all the nice Brazilian people I met there. Thank you Juan for all the advices you gave me and long live Hi Hostel Chapada.
Everything was great. The staff is very kind and friendly, always ready to help and give you recommendations. The hostel is very well located and has good facilities. I highly recommend the hostel if you want to have an amazing experience in Lencois.
