It's like a village with us, not everything is perfect, but it's quiet.
It is not very crowded and I like that the hotels have a private beach.
I only ate at the hotels where I stayed.

Albena is a real jewel of hotel architecture. It is beautiful but rather posh for me. It is only a resort - probably dead in the times off-season. Kranevo is not posh! Not only a resort. You can touch real Bulgarian life there. I prefer Kranevo. :-)

Kranevo is a small village, safe. It is easy to get there. The atmosphere is nice, peaceful, proper for a family vacation. The beach is very good, quiet, so you can hear the sound of the waves. The sea is usually calm, safe, and all people follow lifeguards' advices. No stress. The restaurants have friendly staff, with very good food at decent price. Some roads need some update, but maybe this is Kranevo's charm. I would not change anything to it. Definitely, Kranevo is a hidden gem.

We found it just about right for families with small...
We found it just about right for families with small children. It's small, pretty quiet, with enough restaurants, supermarkets and playground options. We liked the fact that it was not crowded. Prices were fair, streets were safe. The only downside is that if you wake up too early and do not have some coffee making facilities at your accommodation, the only option to get one is to go to one of the 2-3 coffee vending machines. Everything is closed till around 8AM I think (supermarkets, restaurants etc). I don't think I'd recommend it to young adults looking to party :)
The location is so quiet and remote from the noise and dynamics of the big resorts, the green areas, the hotel design, and the public areas give you the feeling of an Italian movie scene.

Highly recommend it for families and couples willing to relax and enjoy the high-quality services in relation to the value.
The breakfasts were great, a lot of variety and choice. The room was fine, it had a fridge and a balcony and air conditioning. The TV has Bulgarian, Russian, English channels (from what I could understand). Towels are provided and housekeeping is carried out every day. I borrowed an iron from the reception and I know you can also borrow hairdryers. The location is great, very close to the beach and there are many restaurants and shops in the vicinity. I didn't use all the facilities the hotel offered, but there was a lot on offer.
Even the hotel is quite old, everything was fine. The room (apartment) has been daily cleaned. The Administrator is very helpful in solving problems (if these occurs) and hotel position is brilliant, basically just on the beach. Internet signal/speed was very good (WiFi signal also on the beach, in front of the hotel), much better than many 4 and 5 stars hotel we stayed in the past. Breakfast was OK at least, even there are not too many food choices.
The beach and space designated for hotel guests was nice. Lots of generous alcohol pours. The hotel manager (and most of the staff) seemed to be engaged and involved, friendly to guests, and wanting to be accommodating. They seemed like they were trying.
It felt like it would be a better fit for families looking for programming and music. It was not a good place for couples. And we were one of the few couples there.
There was no thing that I didn't like at this hotel...the staff was over polite, everybody speaks good English, the facilities are great, the rooms, the pool, the food. We had booked 3 nights, but once we got there, we decided that it wasn't enough and we got an extra night. Not to mention that we booked a double room with sea view and we got the apartment at the price of the double room. Keep up the good work!
This place is brand new and spotless ! I am always looking for a quiet place so I can sleep in on my holidays and this place was perfect for that . The hotel backs onto a green field which makes it more quiet than other places plus gives you a better view than most other hotels ! The hotel staff was very friendly and eager to help ! I will definitely come back .
Location is great. When you come from Varna with Bus no 53, the stop is in front of the hotel and also there is a supermarket 2 houses apart. As the water from pipes are not driknable in Bulgaria, it is good that you don't have to carry waterbottles long time. Also walk to beach and city center is 10 minutes, we walked all days, no need for car:)
The hotel is ok, with direct acces to the beach; the food was better then expected, the royal rooms very good and a nice park with grass and trees
An unexpected bday surprise during the stay was a bottle of sparkling wine and a cake offered by the hotel 😊
All facilities and services from this hotel are amazing. The food is coming from their own farm, the spa area is very big and full of saunas and massage areas. Great indoor and outdoor pool.
