When i visited Yamba is was hammering down with rain which i guess is unusual. It made my short stay a bit bland as the beach was off and the town was very wet. However, i noticed two very busy restaurants, a nice little collection of shops and takeaways. a few drinking holes etc. Id say when the sun is shining it looks a 100% more appealing.
Im told the surfing is great but not my thing. wortha visit if youre a surfer or just travelling up the coast. lots of waterways, pelicand, wildlife.
Its just off the highway so easy access and when youre there you feel like youre in the middle of nowhere so that works!
Worth a trip for 2-4 days in my opinion.

Yamba is the most delightful place, I would live there if I could. Everything is so convenient. Restaurants are great, and I very rarely come home without a new pair of shoes - the shoe shop is excellent.

Yamba is lovely, beaches, fishing, golf, there is plenty to do . Be very careful where you stay , that is the key. The sands is great, be wary of the Cove, please note they are owned by the same organisation, I am just being honest.

I only stayed overnight on my way from QLD to VIC so didn't get to see much of the town. It seemed like a nice little seaside town though and would have loved to be able to stay longer to explore it.

Thank you.
Thank you. We stayed in the apartment and loved every minute. You have thought of all the little extras . Would have stayed longer but already booked. 100% we will be back. Very quick to respond, helpful and pleasant to deal with. ❤️
We stayed for 5 nights .
Very nice views from the balconies and riverside bbq area . Comfortable bed .The kitchen had every thing one needs to cook . Nicely decorated Good air conditioning and ceiling fan .
Every room is individually owned , so may have different decor or supplies in them. Also bring your own coffee as you only get 2 Nescafe pods . Coffee plunger is available at front desk .
Property is within walking distance of restaurants and town .Bus service close to hotel.
Swimming pool is small but nice to cool off in .
It was close to the bus stop and the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The installations were amazing and very clean. The beds were one of the most comfortable bed we’ve slept on this trip through the East Coast (we’ve had our fair share of soft mattresses), there was complimentary tea and coffee. Also, the AC was amazing.
We loved Yamba Central and would definitely come back on our next trip to Yamba.
Secluded woodland site but close to Yamba beaches and shopping centre. Early morning bird chorus softly awakened us for a quiet cup of tea when no other guests had arisen for breakfast or to use the pool. The Cunjevoi Restaurant has a good wine list, interesting boutique beers and the prices of food and drinks was at the upper end of acceptable. Not much different to that charged in any Australian regional town.
The room was clean and the queen bed was very comfortable. I actually took everything off the bed to see what the brand was. The shower/toilet was separate which was expected. Parking was full under the accommodation, but we found parking easily else where. The air con worked beautifully and even though the accommodation was on top of a eatery/drinking venue, there weren't any noise issues.
Very good location close to Yamba village and the Main Beach. Apartment very spacious with a massive balcony - in fact there were 3 balconies to sit on outside the Ocean Suite. The apartment had Netflix which was nice. I enjoyed the warm spa bath close to the apartment. The gardens were pretty. The hostess was very friendly and helpful and easy to get contact.
Great location, and our room was a perfect viewing point for the beach and waterfront. Easy walk to the famous Yamba Pub. Other cafes/restaurants also nearby. Good sized room and very comfortable. Huge balcony - particularly handy when the weather is fine. Receptionist was warm and welcoming. Lovely restaurant below the hotel - highly recommended.
The hotel is in a very good location, walking distance to the town and also to the beaches. It is just across the road from the river where the footpath runs all the way to both. It was a quiet and comfortable room and the owners were very friendly. The pool area looked very nice but we didn't get a chance to use it. We enjoyed our stay here.
Great location in the heart of Yamba. Lovely clean and comfortable property with so many little extras you always need but don’t pack.
There’s a lot of thought that goes into making your stay pleasant. The Byron Bay cookies were delicious and very much appreciated.
The location was excellent, on top of the hill at Yamba. Close to great walking along the ocean, beach, and also easy walk to food/town-centre/cafes. Terry the host was also great - very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and newly renovated.
The location is breathtaking, sweeping views of the sea in an old-style hotel which has recently been done up (at least our 'signature rooms' were very nice - maybe not all the rooms as the bar area and other aspects seemed pretty dated!)
Is very family friendly. Not far from the beach and town centre.
Heat up pools was great to enjoy a swim and not be too cold.
Putt putt was fun and riding the go kart bikes around the resort was fun too.
Absolutely beautiful hotel. Walking distance to the beautiful beaches of Yamba. Staff were so nice & accommodating. Would absolutely recommend to anyone & will definitely stay here again.
Wonderful friendly hosts. Great communication. Exceptionally clean. Excellent location - close to all facilities. Would definitely stay again on my next Yamba visit.
Amazing in every detail, location and views, facilities and the general feel of the place was sensational. Without doubt the most premium property in Yamba
