Car parking was hard to find and needed me to download an app onto my phone so that I could pay for it. However, being a non tech savvy senior citizen, I was unable to do that. Yet another example of an entire generation of elderly people being left behind and disregarded. Sounds like whingeing but it would have been beneficial to know prior to me driving 5 hrs to Williamstown. I would have gone somewhere else for my first holiday since my wife passed away. We went there many years prior, but used public transport, and had a lovely experience. I have taken my car to Sydney (often), and had no problem paying for parking with my card. Very disappointing...

Williamstown retains it seaside village charm whilst being an easy commute to the city. The waterside area has great facilities and has lots of food options close by. Willie, as it is called by the locals, has a lively shopping and food scene, with everything in easy walking distance.

Williamstown, although close to Melbourne, still has a great regional vibe. It's vibrant, easy to get around, has fabulous architecture, shops and dining options. The walk along Nelson Place promenade is wonderful and the vista across to Melbourne at night is spectacular!

Being a beachside suburb it is a thriving but quiet little town in autumn winter. It’s character is it’s history dating back to 1850’s with mostly well preserved turn of century cottages but development is obvious as you drive around. The dining options along the Esplanade are many, there is much to see and do.

Williamstown is a great suburb and the shopping strip offers something for everyone. It was winter when I was there this time, but even the beach is within walking distance. The New Hobson Bay Hotel is an excellent place for a meal or a drink on the rooftop bar.
The train station is walkable from Ferguson St and there is plenty of walking paths to keep you fit!
The only negative is that if you need to drive to the otherside of the city you need to use the Westgate Bridge which is always busy with traffic.

Proximity to the city but Willamstown is quite separate and has a small town feel. Differing areas of the town provide diversity with mix of past and present. Lively cafe and roadside culture. Closeness of water and boats provide relaxing atmosphere. Shame that the ferry is not running regularly
Alligned apartments are situated in a great area, close to parks and Hobsons Bay. There is an abundance of eateries all within walking distance of the apartments. It is also only a short train ride into Melbourne- which our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed. The apartment was well stocked and maintained. We enjoyed a nice meal delivered to our room from the adjacent resturant.
I would highly recommend Alligned Cooperate Apartments. I only wish we had more time to explore Williamstown.
This is our second time staying at Quest Williamstown North. We find the location and views out of the 2 bedroom apartments exceptional. We brought our bikes this time and enjoyed cycling beyond Altona or to Williamstown. We did some Christmas cooking this time - the oven worked well as well as the dishwasher. We knew to bring a few extras for the kitchen to make it easier. The beds are comfortable and the air con works well!
Location to Williamstown was good. There was free range eggs and milk in the fridge. Asked for a cot for the baby and they put up a gate at the top of the stairs and a highchair. Every thing was clean and very attractive. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much.
Cleanliness and comfort were impeccable. My wife and I had recently returned from a seven week world trip staying always in 5 star hotels that were NOT in any way superior to Punt Hill Apartments. Yes, that's a big call, but it's true.
The staff were very friendly, located in the heart of Williamstown with easy access to great restaurants and free Williamstown tour. Accommodation was elegant, had a luxurious feel and was very comfortable.
Great location for us - close to Williamstown. The apartment was large enough for the 3 of us. Plenty of lounges which is nice too. The staff were very friendly too :)
location to restaurants and cafes was wonderful especially with the toddler. the view from the window was beautiful and refreshing. the hotel was warm.
