We were a little surprised by the room, very clean & comfortable. The bathroom, bath & shower were fantastic. The bed very comfy.
We chose to eat at the little restaurant there and we were again very satisfied- good service, lovely food.
We would highly rate this for a great stay.

The waterfront needs a bit of a facelift & they are seriously in need of street signs. I drove around in circles because I couldn’t find the street I wanted. I ate at the restaurant attached to the Travelway Motel & it was excellent.

The museum is a hidden gem, from the outside it did not look like much and the $10 admission almost put us off. However once inside we wandered for over 90 minutes and could have stayed longer.
The Risdon hotel is great for meals and the one 2 four cafe is terrific for breakfast.

Port Pirie is a city in SA that requires a visit to take in the history of our early settlers.
We had a great meal at the Black Pig we would definitely recommend. Don’t miss a tour through the Museum, a quaint building loaded with memorabilia. Driving around Port Pirie is easy on their huge broad streets. The Central Hotel was a great venue to enjoy Adelaide Cup Day.

Town isn’t that exciting really.
Town isn’t that exciting really.
But there’s a great little pizza place called A1. Friendly staff and great pizza.
And if you want a pub meal that well and truely fills your plate, but is way less than average go the the Risdon Hotel. And the staff on the floor cared about as much as the staff in the kitchen.
Bed was comfy shower excellent my husband said room was comfortable and catered for basic needs we had booked for 6 nights but left after 4 as i had been discharged from hospital from having a hip replacement and bed was a bit to low for me to sleep on would stay again if need to in the future as very close to port pirie regional hospital the staff we had contact with were friendly and helpfull
The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. It is honestly the best value for money hotel I’ve stayed in. Very affordable, and very comfortable and enjoyable. There is a large shared kitchen for guests and a nice outdoor bbq area with plenty of seating. We have stayed in 3 of their rooms, and they are all very clean and all of the beds are very comfy
This was the second time we have used this property for staff travel and find it to be a very comfortable and refreshing change to the usual Hotel/Motel accommodation, but at a very comparable price. Both of our staff members who have stayed here on 2 separate trips were very happy with everything about the apartment.
The staff were very helpful, opening doors for my husband who uses a walker. We also had our evening meal sent to our room. The meals were very good. It was very close to the hospital and the center of town. We would highly recommend this Motel to anyone and will stay there again when we go back to Port Pirie.
A stunning little gem with quality fitout befitting a boutique hotel in a city location. Friendly staff and an onsite restaurant for dinner. Recently re-opened wasn't ready to provide breakfast at that time but once provided will make a fantastic stopover for business and tourist travellers.
Great little oasis out from Port Pirie. Beautifully decorated stand alone studio apartment. Fully appointed bathroom with deep bath was an unexpected luxury. Breakfast included fresh bread, yoghurt and juice. Would have liked to stay longer. The bed was comfortable. Had a great sleep.
We loved the location of the cabin looking out onto the water, it was just a bit too noisy when the trains and trucks went past
If the cabins were 1km or so inland the noise wouldn't be an issue, but obviously they were built where the lake is.
The bath was excellent!
Located right next to a Chinese restaurant and within easy walking distance to 3 pubs, this was a great location for me. A Woolworths supermarket was within walking distance but you would be better by car. There was a drive through bottle shop almost opposite the hotel.
Great black and white theme outside and throughout the hotel.
Very friendly and helpful check in. Room was clean, spacious, modern with a lovely bathroom - great shower.
We dined in the restaurant and really enjoyed our meals. Service and food was very good.
The staff were extremely helpful. We had a noisy cricket in our room and they quickly changed our room. We were towing a boat and there is plenty of room to park the boat out the front of the hotel. Good value for the price we paid.
Great cabin for 2 people with excellent breakfast provisions. Lovely views over the lake .
The cabins are close to the highway , however the noise is minimal. We would most definitely stay thre again.
I was a woman traveling alone and I appreciated the fact that I felt safe. The majority of the accommodation in port pirie the door of your room opens out on to the street.
