Very friendly and helpful staff, loved the welcome drink, cool private dining room upstairs separate to downstairs restaurant. Recommend eating dinner in the restaurant and get the crab cakes!

Restaurant was closed so could not have breakfast.when I booked in I was not advised that restaurant was closed so very disappointed with that.as a 78year old I did not appreciate that I had to drive at night to find somewhere to B have dinner and next morning to have breakfast.

YHA Pittwater Eco Sydney is only accessible via water taxi or ferry only, followed by an uphill walk.

I had the best time staying here over the long weekend. The hostel is nicely set up with a large kitchen, games room, deck overlooking the bay, and a fire pit for roasting marshmallows at night. It was so tranquil waking up to birdsong in the morning and spotting wallabies in the field. The coffee and kayak rental was excellent as well. Hoping to revisit in the warmer months!

Highly recommended. Booking and communication was easy. House was lovely and clean. Comfortable beds and good heating. They even provided two mini bottles of wine, which was a lovely surprise.
Liked nothing. You book & pay for a room in advance to find out at 11pm room isn’t safe to sleep in. What do they offer a refund. What are we supposed to do Sleep in car as no other rooms available.

The aircon leaked inside onto table our and on phones and our items got wet The toilet was moving as u sat on it and poor lighting in bathroom beds hard pillows low fridge empty usable to use radio alarm the corridor to room dark wet and obstructed by chairs we were very disappointed

A nice relaxing short stay at the Metro Mirage Hotel Newport. A great restaurant near the Mirage hotel called the Beco Newport cafe. We visited the restaurant for a late breakfast on both days. Great service and great food. For a drink pop across the road for a drink at the Newport Arms Hotel with their vast outdoor seating and great views.
It is close to the bus stop for a ride to Palm Beach to wander up the beach and have lunch at Barrenjoey House. Great service, food and atmosphere.

The hotel is in a rich area and the price matches that. Sadly, the facilities do not match the price. Four nights there were dearer than my 7 nights at my next stop and this hotel is far better!
Apart from breakfast - which had its own challenges - no other meals were available and the only option was a pub over the road. Despite being a huge place that had a very limited menu

Lots to see and do around Newport as there are many iconic ocean beaches nearby. The Newport Motor Yacht Club is an amazing place to visit and enjoy the views over the marina with an outstanding array of yachts and motor boats to see.

A great location. Our room was very noisy from the pub next door. There were other rooms available, especially with the awful stain on the floor. I do have a photo! It would have been nice to have a view, if there is such a room. The view from the restaurant is amazing!
