Loved the safari tent. It was warm, the heater would switch itself off which wasn’t ideal for the cold but would eventually come back on. The view was incredible and the tent itself was exceptionally clean and enjoyable. Especially love the bath on the balcony just wish the bbq wouldn’t block the view from the bath

Location was very peaceful and serene. Lots of space for our dog. Loved sitting on the deck in the sun and the outlook. The horses were a bonus and being able walk down the drive to the lake.
The cost was fair and didn’t cost an arm and a leg just because we had our dog.
Cosy unit

Been coming to Merimbula since I was very young. Was great to finally bring my young family! Absolutely love the food and beaches but mostly the people! Everyone is lovely and smiling. Great place to bring younger kiddos too for the safe beach/bay. Can’t wait to come back!

We stayed Mid February, just after the School Holidays ended, so the crowds would have been reduced. Still, there was a great "vibe" to the town, beaches, and surrounds. Merimbula was a great starting point to travel up & down the coast visiting other locales, such as Eden, Tathra, and the numerous beaches/parks/lakes along the Sapphire Coast.

Merimbula was suprisingly busy for a country town and traffic was at a standstill in the main downtown area at times. I don't know if this was normal for this time of the year (February). We did a number of day trips to surrounding areas such as Eden, Boydtown, Candelo and Tathra. We had hoped to visit Kameruka but it was closed to the public. Local seafood was good and the oysters, in particular, were delicious.

The room was very clean and comfy.
The room was very clean and comfy. Parking was smooth and easy, right in front of the room. I especially enjoyed the large bathroom and the back veranda. The aircon was also good. Wifi didn't work so well.
Merimbula is a great place for staying and relaxing. The beach boardwalk is beautiful. Nice shopping, restaurants, and cafes. We had a lovely breakfast at MorMors Cafe. The "Top Fun" amusement centre was also a great experience.

Victoria, it was not as busy as what we thought. I enjoyed doing a lot of walks especially the boardwalk trail. Easy to find your way around town.
The Oysters are really fresh. try their oyster factories. don't fall for the $8 per dozen advert though. apparently they are real small oysters. ((probably shouldn't even be harvested). the $20/dozen are a good size.
Try the Wheelers ( Pambula) restaurant. decent food.
Staff very friendly and welcoming. room size was excellent for a family stay and the housekeeping was fantastic. it was nice to come back to a clean and fresh room after a day of sightseeing.
Despite the room’s position on the road, it was still relatively quiet and peaceful. hotel’s location was excellent and within walking distance to Market Street , shops, restaurants and the wharf.
Spotless little motel with super friendly owners, I highly reccommend The Pelican. We arrived with a baby which means lots of gear and extra questions but nothing was too hard for Tom on the front desk. Walked to dinner that night and the water for breakfast the next day. There's lots of good motel options in Merimbula it seems, but we were so happy we fluked The Pelican - we'll be back.
Great hotel, we love it. The room was very clean, the room and facilities inside was very organized, we very much enjoyed our stay there. The staff working there are kind and friendly. Location is great, in the middle , city center and walking distance to everything. I highly recommend this hotel, clean, and comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Nice pool too. Thanks.
Sails is in a prime location to enjoy everything Merimbula has to offer. Walking distance to shopping and the ocean. The facilities are great and the pool was very inviting. Rhys was very helpful and communication was great. The apartment has all the modern mod cons and is very comfortable like a 2nd home. We will definitely be back.
Location was perfect! Nice and quiet.
Apartment was lovely and clean, view from the main bedroom was amazing.
Best thing was we could take our dog!
Communication with the host was terrific, no problem at all.
Merimbula is such a lovely place, we would highly recommend visiting and also staying here!
Thank you!
The location and views were amazing. I could literally walk outside my unit's front door and straight on to a lakeside walk-way. The lights of Merimbula across the lake were amazing of a night, and was only 5 minutes drive from the main Merimbula shopping centre.
Clean unit. Lovely indoor pool & spa. Our family loved the Sports Court for cricket & basketball hoop. Great volleyball area & jumping pillow. All facilities close together. Short walk to Top Fun for bowling & Merimbula town centre.
The Town Centre Motor Inn is conveniently located in the heart of Merimbula, close to all the shops and restaurants and not too far from the beaches. Not a luxury stay by any means, but comfortable, clean and CHEAP!
Hotel was in a great location. Less than a 2km walk to the centre of Merimbula and only a quick walk to the board walk and main beach. Hotel was very clean when we arrived and the staff were very friendly.
I stayed in the newly renovated balcony room overlooking the facilities and a great view of Merimbula. I was there for work travel and we will definitely be back. Great for a team stay !
Hotel decor was modern and natural, great views across Merimbula town and a big front lawn to relax on. Room had all the things you would need; fan, aircon, TV, kettle, teas etc.
The room was v clean, the bed was v comfortable and the location was ideal. You could walk into the centre of Merimbula from the accommodation. Very good value!
A great spot to relax with a great view overlooking Middle Beach. Close by walks around the beaches and lookouts, a short drive into Merimbula for shopping.
Location location! This place is in the perfect spot, definitely the best little patch of Merimbula to stay for beach and close walking distance to town.
Hosts were very good and communicated well. Property was very clean and easy to access, short walking distance from the RSL and Main Street of Merimbula
