This is a lovely place to stay. Quiet and well appointed. Peter, our host, went out of his way to make sure breakfast and a wide array of snacks were available for us. The property is in a gorgeous location with a generous outdoor deck. Peter even drove us to our wedding, which was exceedingly generous of him and offered to help find our way home if we were stuck. Fully recommend this as a wonderful place to stay. We are looking to return in the future with our children to tackle the many bike paths and local sites available. We also adored Peppy the border collie, friendly dog with a love of humans and pats.

Location was excellent. Once inside the front door, the space is really refreshing. Don't let the exterior (which is lovely, but weatherboard) put you off. The whole space was very clean and everything we needed provided.

Luxus apartments with all needed appliances. A huge terrace with exclusive barbecue, facing the most beautiful vineyards ( with kangaroos inclusive). Amazing.
McLarenvale is a beautiful spot.
Very pretty, roads are great. Easy driving from Adelaide. Beautiful scenery, loads of wineries. We had an amazing meal at Vasarelli Cellar Door Restaurant.
We loved The Cube experience at D’Arenberg. We did the lot! Wine-tasting, delicious lunch and bought a t-shirt. Loved the Salvador Dali exhibition. All the staff were incredibly lovely, helpful and warm.
A very enjoyable 3 day trip. Perfect for 5 mature ladies on a special birthday year trip from Perth and Canberra!

There are plenty of cafes and eateries to choose from. Walk the main street or drive to the numerous wineries in the area. Good weather great customer service and so many options, no one would miss out. Great wedding venues in the area and beautiful scenery and a lovely clean town.
Favorite place this trip was Hey Juj. Always try new location each trip worth a visit. Good parking everywhere close to venues and shopping precinct

Amazing people, wines and food. The Cube was an experience and the food at d'Terry's on the verandah was amazing.
We did a tour with "Affordable Tours with G" which was great, the wines are lovely and the winemakers very chatty! Lunch at the Tap House was really good as well - great tasting options (if you need a break from wine) and the best pizza I've had in a long time.
Dinner at Star of Greece well worth it as food and service is fantastic.

McLaren Vale is a must to visit when visiting Adelaide, because of its soil it has without a doubt the best wines in South Australia. Three days was not enough time to spend in this region to see and taste the wonders here. We would highly recommend visiting McLaren Vale as a must-see destination.

I live close by but we had a family wedding just outside McLaren Vale. It is such a lovely spot - truly lovely place to visit and stay - lots of places to visit, lots of wineries. It is so worth the trip and if you can stay for a few days - it will be worth it. Great place to base yourself for a look around the area.

What a fantastic property this is. Our room was vast and elegantly decorated, with a huge and very comfortable bed. The resorts grounds were amazing and we enjoyed several walks around the little lake and through all the wonderful gum trees. The location was excellent - just a minute from the village of McLaren Vale and all the Wineries, Gin Distilleries, Breweries and great eateries - an excellent place to base yourself. We loved our 3 day stay here and would highly recommend it.
The location is ideal for touring McLaren Vale. The bath is glorious. There are two rain-showers. The living room has a lovely gas fire. The kitchen and cooking facilities are good and there is a Nespresso machine with local sustainable coffee pods. The breakfast supplies for make-your-own-breakfast were delicious.
The "Peddler's Cottage" was perfect to spend a few days in McLaren Vale. Great location to visit the wineries as well as close to restaurants & shops.
The breakfasts were fantastic....kept us going all day!
The staff were friendly & courteous.
We would definitely stay here again.
