I got what I paid for. It was survivable, there was a bed and a shower and the staff were friendly. The whole place could be great if it had a major renovation. Wrap up warm, don't walk around bare foot, and you will be fine!
Featuring a solar-heated outdoor swimming pool, Terralong Apartments are just 10 minutes’ walk from Kiama Blowhole. Each has a private balcony with outdoor seating, flat-screen smart TV and DVD...

Such a pretty town, with the best of both coastal and rural views & activities.
A big variety of Great restaurants and cafes, with friendly service. Indoor and outdoor seating available at nearly all businesses.
A huge variety of other stores as well, clothing, toys, books, pharmacies, supermarkets, post office, op shops, specialty boutiques, information bureau - the list is endless.
All this, yet the small town feel, remains. 🥰

Lovely beachside town.
Lovely beachside town. We went there over Easter, and would consider going back again for longer. Went to Jamberoo, and had an awesome time! Kids enjoyed it more than Wet n Wild on the Gold Coast. But that was mainly because it wasn't crowed at Easter, and the queues were much shorter, so kids had a lot more time actually going on the rides, than waiting in queues. Lovely coastline to explore. We also visited the Illawara Fly and did the Zipline tour. What a lot of fun! and beautiful views and forest.

The hosts were so accommodating.
The hosts were so accommodating. The bed was comfortable, the studio was modern and clean including the bathroom and kitchen. The view from the deck was sensational. Walking distance to Kiama Coastal Walk. Good sized yard. The hosts were contactable and readily available for assistance. Great value for money. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Bernie and Joan for all your help! ;)

Kiama had a few beaches to go to.
Kiama had a few beaches to go to. There are a couple of rock pools that seemed very popular with the locals and tourists. The blowhole is always a big draw card to Kiama. The local fish market had school prawns which I haven’t been able to buy for quite awhile. If you like good coffee, you will not be disappointed. The Kiama Leagues Club was just down the road from our accommodation and our meal was very good. There is a very nice coastal walk with excellent views.

Kiama is a beautiful little town.
Kiama is a beautiful little town. The views are the draw card, around the harbour and the blowhole . It’s very walkable but hilly so be prepared. There is a bit of building going on improving facilities in town. A new shopping centre. The Salvos shop is awesome , large, clean and well spaced. The Vinnies shop is also a lovely place to browse.
The cafes and restaurants are numerous and staff lively and energetic.
Top tip; get off the main drag and see the side streets too, it’s very pretty.
About a 7 min walk to the main street, and about a 5 min walk to one of the beaches. It was across from one but there was a massive car park and footy oval you had to cross to get to the beach. The furniture has since been updated but the photos on booking.com haven't been so it's MUCH nicer then the pictures show. Great appliances top of the range stuff in the house. Pretty happy. Excellent outdoor area also. Abit pricey but worth it for luxury and convenience. Also fantastic aircon that gets the whole house and every room.
Terrible accomodation - this is at a PUB, which was not advertised when I booked. People I didn’t feel safe around live at this accomodation. Loud at night. Cigarette smoke smell in room and bathrooms. I didn’t actually make it through the night and had to leave… Booked for 1 week and had to leave the first night because I felt so unsafe here and deceived by the booking.com listing. DON’T STAY HERE UNLESS YOU’RE AWARE IT’S ABOVE A LOUD LOCAL PUB WITH METH-HEADS LIVING HERE.
The quiet location, and beautiful view of the Kiama lighhouse and sea, were an absolute highlight! Having a bottle of sparkling wine and cheese platter waiting for us on arrival was just delightful, and the accomodation provided eveything needed. Breakfast was especially generous. All of the small touches added up. Recommend to anyone needing a perfect city break! Thank you, Marilyn. Was a joy!
The room was able to be heated or cooled. It was spotlessly clean. We were able to walk from there to all the Kiama attractions. We had a car park. The staff were smiley and nice on check-in. The water from the shower was hot and the shower was well ventilated. There was good storage space for luggage and space around the bed.
Very conveniently located in Kiama to the shops, bws, restaurants and beaches. Quiet and spacious property
Well appointed living area as well as very comfortable beds with extra quilts available if required. Living area upstairs makes the balcony a great spot for quiet drinks. Would highly recommend and would stay again.
I booked 2 nights to have a little getaway on my own. I booked a second row cabin. It was lovely. Had everything I needed. The bed was comfy, shower was great, loved the kitchen. Loved that it was right on the beach, short drive to Kiama and super quiet.
The property is modern and in a great location a few minutes walk from the town centre. The unit is very spacious. The view from the living area is spectacular looking across Black Beach. Great that parking for 2 cars is provided in the garage area.
Stunningly renovated historic building with lush green gardens in a convenient and beautiful part of Kiama. Easy walk to Main Street and ocean pool. The apartment was just beautiful and has everything you need. Very clean.
Beautiful view and so close to the town. The studio was also cleaner than most high end hotels I’ve stayed at. The couple who host Wave n’ Sea are so so lovely, I would definitely recommend staying here!
Very nice & cleanlocation and self contained for kids with water park, pool, play area, jumping pillow and private beach (sort of) for the guests.
Very close to all amenities and Kiama city centre.
LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION-overlooking Kiama harbour, the sunsets were stunning, listening to the waves rolling in while in bed was so soothing. the cabins are beautiful.
