It was a lovely cabin. Clean, fresh and very comfortable. Our cabin was close to the laundry so for us that was an added bonus.

Some lovely shops and heritage buildings.
Some lovely shops and heritage buildings. The museum at the tourist information centre was great and the staff very helpful. Great antique shop and the German arms hotel had great atmosphere and food as did the German spoon restaurant. Otto's bakery were very accommodating when I ordered Bee string cakes for a day they don't normally bake them. They were to die for. The town gets very busy of a weekend end so get there early to get parking. Beautiful country side and surrounds when you go for a drive. The Beerenberg outlet was good for a visit as well.

Amble at Hahndorf was classy accommodation with all the right touches of homeliness. The kitchen had all you could want to cook your own meals and the bed was comfortable. The bedroom balcony looked out onto a lovely country vista with native birds, ducks and chooks. The location was quiet and within walking distance to the main street of Hahndorf which is well known for its eateries and gift shops.

Very happy with our stay in Hahndorf. 3 nights was perfect. We explored the town. Shopped. Ate delicious German strudel every day. Caught the bus into Adelaide. Looked around Rundle Street

Huge range of restuarants, cafes, and sweets shops selling delicious fudge. Other gourmet produce, such as quality cheese, can also be found close by. There are also some cool German craft shops, which are great for a browse and pretty expensive if you want to make a purchase. Monarto Safari Park is also a short drive from Hahndorf and well worth a visit.

Hahndorf is a cute and slightly kitsch town.
Hahndorf is a cute and slightly kitsch town. Weekends during the day the main street is bustling with holiday makers and day-trippers but at night it gets very quiet and almost has no ambience, which surprised us. Pre-booking tables for dinner on a Fri & Sat night is a must as is pre-booking wine tasting experiences around the area. Riding a bike is very easy and a beautiful way to see the Hills.
We were recommended to visit Handorf as part of our South Australian visit. Lovely town and a high point of our trip. Now it our turn to provide a recommendation. When in Hahndorf stay at the Hahndorf Motel. It is located is right in the middle of the main street of the town meaning easy walking to all the shops and attractions. The facilities were just as advertised and was a pleasure to see the room look just like the photos. Would we choose to stay at the Handorf Motel if we are in Handorf again? Simply, yes we would.
Very comfortable & clean & absolutely everything you could need was provided. The owner fully explained everything to us when we arrived. The bed was really comfortable & had an electric blanket for the chilly nights. A very easy walk into all the action of Hahndorf. Lovely gardens surrounded the property & we had visits from many birds Everything was fantastic & the owner had obviously put a lot of thought into making our stay as comfortable as possible
Great location for Hahndorf shopping, restaurants, also close to some great wineries Hahndorf Hill, Shaw & Smith, Nepenthe and Sidewood.
Hill cottage was very well equipped, clean and spacious. We all enjoyed the breakfast provisions and welcome bottle of wine.
Andy and Mandy were lovely hosts we would definitely stay again.
A well located, clean and with all the facilities required, what’s not to like. The Owl Place is within easy walking distance of Hahndorf’s main street and this allows you to eat in or out, depending on your choice. The hosts are friendly making this an easy choice for a stay in the Adelaide hills.
Great location in the Main Street of Hahndorf with good coffee shops and restaurants in easy walking distance. Local supermarket is also nearby for those who wish to self cater. Very friendly and helpful host. Excellent parking facilities directly adjacent to our accommodation.
The flat was comfortable with modern amenities and very clean. The kitchen and bathroom were modern and well appointed, Liked the large screen TV and the air conditioner was useful on cold nights. It was only a short walk to the main hub of Hahndorf.
Perfect location right in middle of main street of Hahndorf. The studio rooms were a good size and had everything one required. The shower was different with 3 spray zones but worked better than expected. Room was very clean and modern.
Great attention to detail. Everything we needed was in the villa including very nice welcome gifts and breakfast supplies. Wood fire was fantastic. Villa was in a quiet location but only a very short walk to the main street.
The location was so perfect! Right in the middle of the main street, but the cottages are set back behind the car park so we didn't hear any traffic. The hosts were friendly and kind. Cannot fault our stay. Loved it!
We loved the location - close enough to walk to everything, but not in the midst of the very busy street.
We loved the setting amongst a beautiful garden full of birds and wildlife.
Perfect size for our small group.
The apartment was extremely spacious, with great rear deck and peace and quiet.
Centrally located in town, so walking distance to shops and eateries.
Could not fault the place and reasonably priced.
Large, new rooms. Hahndorf itself has history but has been overwhelmed in the tourism area, yet is very close to Adelaide which was our destination. An ideal overnight place for us.
Comfortable Bed & Room Facilities as expected - usual good standard. Staff in Reception very friendly. All round, a good location for Hahndorf that is so very busy on weekends,
Right in the middle of Hahndorf and close to everything. Comfortable beds and well designed rooms. We will be back for sure thanks to the friendly and accommodating staff!
The Lodge was very well located in the heart of Hahndorf, just off the main road, so very quiet. Easy walking to all restaurants, craft shops and markets.Nothing
