Title: Unacceptable Stay - Mouse sighted in toilet and Unbearable Odor Rating: 1/5 "We booked this house for a night, but unfortunately, our stay was cut short due to a mouse which we noticed in the toilet but what put us off was a putrid smell from a dead mouse. The condition of the rest of the house was reasonably clean, except for the kitchen floor which was dusty. We were told that there was parking on site - but did not know that we had to park our loaded trailer and car in the driveway and assumed the garage doors meant we would have secured parking - this was a bit misleading. Despite our efforts to address this with the owner, she refused to acknowledge the issue and take responsibility. Our main concern was the smell of a decaying mouse and this was overwhelming as we could not bring ourselves to eat there. We had to find alternative accommodation at the last minute, which added to our stress and expenses. I would not recommend this property to anyone until the owner addresses these issues and takes necessary steps to ensure a clean and comfortable stay for guests. Booking.com, please take note of this issue and help resolve this matter

Tukawyl Retreat Landsborough, hotel in Glass House Mountains

Located in Landsborough, 6.2 km from Australia Zoo and 15 km from Aussie World, Tukawyl Retreat Landsborough offers a garden and air conditioning.

It was wonderful to drive down the road and see ahead a glimpse of the solitude we seeked for a weekend away. We were greeted by the lovely Wendy, who showed us the lay of the land, the room is so warm and inviting, straight away putting us at ease. I cannot recommend Tukawyl highly enough. I just wish we could have stayed longer.

Hinterland Breakfast Deal - First night!, hotel in Glass House Mountains

Set in Beerwah, 6.9 km from Australia Zoo and 23 km from Aussie World, Hinterland Breakfast Deal - First night! offers air conditioning.

Our stay here was fantastic! Thank you so much for being such thoughtful hosts. As soon as we walked into the house, we felt at home. There is everything one could wish for, from varuous possible cooking appliances to a myriad of books and DVDs, supplies for breakfast, and many cooking essentials and condiments. The house is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. And the oitdoor area is just gorgeous. Communication with the hosts was a breeze, and we truly wish we could have stayed longer. Our 5 nights were not enough! There is so much to do in the area. Huge thank you for this little gem :)

Really wanted to do an overnight trip experience with my son...

Really wanted to do an overnight trip experience with my son. Didn't come prepared, and cut it short before going into the red. Will plan ahead next time! Stayed at The Glass House Ecolodge (too short of stay for proper judging}. We, my 9 yr old son and I, visited Montville. Had lunch at the Montville Cafe Bar & Grill. Both of us had the Parmys. We're both guilty, as we both couldn't finish our chips. 4 outta 5! After lunch, just did the ole touristy thing. Trying to walk off our lunch, and at the same time looking for that trinket, or item I just can't live without. Oh, that was the boy. So, for us, walking was for the best. Also, the timing was perfect. Next time, the kid stays behind, and the credit card gets brutal!

We were/are looking at Real Estate with view to downsizing/relocating. Reasonably familiar with some areas: Much more "looking" to do. Our stay at "Jen's Getaway" was excellent. Hope to be back. Visit to Beerwah Shops very inviting also. A big plus.

Very scenic and picturesque up at high viewing areas. Good restaurants and plenty of accommodation. Great walks and a good day at the zoo. Ate at the Pineapple Patch, Chinese restaurant. Great food and service. Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Jen's Getaway. Very friendly, nice clean and modern accommodation. Well stocked cupboard and fridge. Made to feel very welcome upon arrival and very pleasant with her advice on where to go to eat and things to see. Thanks Jen.

Glass House Mountains Ecolodge was such a nice, clean and neat place to stay. I would be better if I checked in earlier as the Ecolodge itself is beautiful to look around. Also, I have not tried as I had to leave early due to work, but it seemed like there was a tracking course nearby. I really enjoyed the eco-friendly vibe and the interior, exterior of the building very much. And the owner Keith was very helpful too. Also, wifi was fast! Thanks!

Incredible location set amongst the Glass House Mountains with easy access to all of them via car. I loved the ethos of the place - recycling, being mindful of our impact on the environment and access to fresh local food. I enjoyed the communal cooking and we made some nice acquaintances over breakfast . This is not a flashy or overly luxurious place but I think it was way nicer than a flashy hotel!

Jen has a beautiful house with everything we needed during our short stay. The location is just perfect: very quiet and private but only minutes drive to everything. Jen and her partner are very welcoming hosts, it was a pleasure to stay at their property and we will definitely stay again if travel to Glass House Mountains next time.

Great location in the midst of the Glasshouse Mountains. Super friendly welcome, and we were given a list of places to see and activities to do which we duly followed. We loved the communal kitchen and dining area, speedy wifi, the lovingly kept grounds. Everything was spotlessly clean. Thank you!

Jen's Getaway was a great place to stay for the night while in the Glass House Mountains area. My room was well set up, with own bathroom and I was offered a great breakfast which I had not realised was included in the price. The neighbourhood is beautifully quiet.

Very close to Australian Zoo. This was our reason for visiting. Rained so did not go to Glass House Mountains, too foggy. Great breakfast offering. Jen and Tony were very kind and have a beautiful home and garden. Reasonable too.
