The town is lovely, with some gorgeous older homes, the area is beautiful, the shops are surprisingly diverse, as was the population. We found one remarkable place for coffee/breakfast and lunch called NOURISHED. Best coffee, and most interesting and delicious Smashed Avo, ever. The Museum and accompanying shed with Traction engines, carts, old trucks etc is well worth a visit.

We love the attitude of the people, they are so friendly!
We love the attitude of the people, they are so friendly! We enjoyed Archers Point , the view is magnificent and well worth seeing, and the Grand hotel is really grand! The big scorer though is the quality of the takeaway food. The Bakery opens early and they have a quality array to please any palate. We went to a little takeaway just past the hotel and had the best burgers in a long time. All in all, a 100% fub trip!

The township of Gayndah is an exceptional place to visit and live we went there just to have a look around the area and ended up buying a house and the town and the friendly people ticked all the boxes and a breath of fresh air to get back to country hospitality

Gayndah is a great town to visit.
Gayndah is a great town to visit. We stayed at The Country Roads Motor Inn where the staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the most magnificent meal at The Grand Hotel & beautiful Devonshire scones at the big orange. Great view of Gayndah from the lookout. Would highly recommend a visit to Gayndah!
