Forster is a town that seems on the verge of becoming either an excellent tourist destination, or one to be avoided. It is partway along the Myall Lakes so the scenery is very good. Services are okay, with some good places to eat and I believe, good places to stay. There are some very seedy, run-down parts, but they are in the older areas of the town. It seems clean enough and the majority of the houses look to be kept with pride in their appearance.

Forster is a beautiful beachy town with lovely countryside and beautiful beaches. There are many places to walk and explore with cafes along the way. The cafes around the beaches were very popular and the people out and about walking were very friendly.

Beaches are beautiful, many great restaurants.

Beaches are beautiful, many great restaurants. Not much to do on wet days and teen was a bit bored visiting in winter. It would be great in summer when it’s warmer and more time can be spent at the beach.

The restaurants and cafes are fantastic.

The restaurants and cafes are fantastic. A tour on Wallis lake is a must to do when in Forster. If you have kids take them to the Lions Club Putt Putt Golf and Trampolines, it is cheap and great fun, whilst supporting a charity.

The room had an excellent view of the Beach and coastline. The room was large, with plenty of room for two people. The hotel was a short walk to Foster CBD, close to restaurants, bars, and cafes.
