The restaurants and cafes are fantastic.
The restaurants and cafes are fantastic. A tour on Wallis lake is a must to do when in Forster. If you have kids take them to the Lions Club Putt Putt Golf and Trampolines, it is cheap and great fun, whilst supporting a charity.

What a stunning view from the front balcony, we even saw...
What a stunning view from the front balcony, we even saw dolphins! Four winds was the most well stocked kitchen we have ever experienced. Even suppling TimTams. Our stay was amazing and we wished we could have stayed longer.

Highly recommend staying in Forster and especially at Astina Suits. The location is absolutely beautiful. Everything you need is so close. The beaches are clean, with easy access and are absolutely beautiful. So many lovely places to eat both near the water and near shops.

What we liked most was that it was close to a cafe across the road from us where we had breakfast.I would recommend to book as it was quite busy.It was also close to the hotel where we had a couple of cold beers & also we had tea there one night.There are quite a few nice shops in the main street of forster.
Chill Out Forster is located metres from the beach and the bush track starts on the corner opposite the flat. Arriving was easy enough - the car park is a little tight but manageable. The fact there are no keys is the best thing to ever happen in a holiday unit - I have a teenager and handy them keys is always fraught with danger so a keypad is ideal. The kitchen was tastefully decorated and the couch super comfy. The restaurants are all within a quick walk so you can easily go out and back on foot.
Jimmy gave us a free upgrade! Golden Sands is just over the hill to the beach, walking distance from the tourist centre and a short drive across the bridge from Tuncurry and a short drive the other way to the super markets, etc. We were delighted with the service, the room and the allocated and numbered parking lot at the door. This was especially appreciated as it was raining when we left which made repacking very easy.
Really good clean rooms, with modern, spacious bathroom; A well lit room (but my bedside light was not working but the good room light made up for that minor detail) & the double bed was very comfortable. Great hotel to stay at, right in the heart of Forster & only a short walk to the CBD, with the lovely river just across the road as well.
What a great find! Super close to the water-front, lower price than anything around it and squeaky clean! Loved it. Small room, perfect for travel, and very efficient!! Don't let the old sign in front of the hotel fool you - the rooms are great!
I liked that the property was kid and pet friendly, the location and view was amazing. The backyard was beautiful and safe for the kids to play in and the dog to run around and secure. It was spacious, clean and felt very homely
The kitchen was well equipped, the staff really nice and the location is pretty good. A few minutes and you are in the beach, restaurants, etc.
The shower was simply amazing and a very nice reward after a long drive.
Located just far enough from the busy centre but an easy walk to everything, the property was well located. Nice view and living areas very comfortable. Lift made access very easy from the secure carpark.
We had excellent beds, the place was in a nice location, Forster is a lovely little town with beautiful surroundings, the hotel was very clean and supplied everything you need for a night's stay
This Hotel is quite close to everything Forster has to offer. The local electric BBQ is across the road adjacent to rock pool swimming area, safe for young ones with appropriate supervison.
Fantastic location. Overlooking the beach and close to some good coffee spots and cafés. The apartment had everything you needed. Beds very comfortable
