Exactly what you expect and I say that in the best possible way. Everything was clean, good amount of facilities and everyone staying was very respectful. I had to extend my stay but then reduce the extension and the owners refunded my money without fuss

Very easy to find, take the M3 from Tullamarine Freeway, look for the Ringwood Bypass on your left as you come out of the Melba Tunnel. Then turn left at Maroondah Highway, the Ringwood Lake Inn is about 100m on your left. Hungry Jacks, Coles Express and Shell just over the road. A short drive to the Ringwood shopping precinct and Eastlands. Great location for visiting the Dandenong Ranges. We went over the top of the Dandenong Ranges via Monbulk, which was a lovely quiet drive, to join the M1 Freeway at Packenham for our holiday in South Gippsland. The Ringwood Lake Inn is central and convenient for local exploration, and for on travel to Gippsland. You can drive to the Hume Highway at Seymore via Yea, which is also a nice road trip. Am I a fan of Ringwood? Well, my first job out of school was there, so I have a soft spot for the town ;-)

We stay here regularly as our son is at boarding school close by. The staff are always very friendly and accomodating. The rooms are always very comfortable and clean. They have a range of rooms to cater for different situations.
Parking is also available which is very handy.
There is a great restaurant and Brewery attached to the hotel with delicious food.

At the hotel where we stayed, the Mecure, The reception staff was excellent, most welcoming and assisted in all our needs, including arranging for us to have a shower in the evening before our long flight home, even though we had checked out earlier in the day.
The restaurant staff at the bar were wonderful, as ther brewed us some exceptionally good coffee during our breakfast.

Doncaster is a beautiful suburb with great shopping and dining. Biggest drawback is lack of a train station, but it’s a quick 5-10min bus ride to Box Hill Station. 30-40 minutes to the city via public transport. One of the highest points above sea level in Melbourne, so you often get nice city views while walking. Nice bike/walking trail at nearby Koonung Creek, one of the best shopping centres in Melbourne, lots of great food and coffee.

Doncaster should be cetral point between where would you go such as Melbourne city or great ocean road for skydive. from Doncaster to Melbournce spen drive time around 30mins or great ocean road around 1.5hrs for drive. If drive to Rwelve Apostles around 3-4hrs.
Clean and comfortable property. Ideally located within walking distance of Westfield Doncaster (shopping centre), bus links to the city and playgrounds for our toddler. Comfortable beds. Bedrooms at rear meant we didn't hear road traffic during sleeping hours. Strong shower. Welcoming and helpful hosts. Designated parking spot was great. The garden was a perfect size to entertain our toddler. The Pancake Parlour is less than 5 minutes walk away!
We had to buy our own food items, but all sorts of kitchen equipment were well provided. The caretaker on the premises was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The resident inmates took care the place was well kept, which unfortunately was not always followed by incidental visitors!
The wifi was excellent and the location too, with good bus connections nearby and a major shopping mall within 5 minutes walking distance.
We actually stayed 3 nights -2 booked originally and an extended night. The Quest was remarkably quiet despite being on a busy road - it was well designed. The Doncaster hotel is adjacent and was great for dinner and Doncaster Shopping Town is a short drive and provides food, cinemas and shopping
Great place to stay very convenient just off the M3 and right next to the shopping centre. easy access into the city. The hotel is new clean and fresh. Very comfortable wide range of eating options just across the road at the shopping centre and Cinema as well.
The room design was chic yet warm and comfortable. The hotel design was also very appealing. I also liked the bathroom amenities and the design of the bathroom itself. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Although the hotel is on a main road it was really quiet. It was clean and comfortable and I slept really well. Access and parking were easy. Really convenient for that side of town.
Great location in the Doncaster region- proximity to Westfield (5 min drive away).
Rooms were clean and well equipped with utensils and electronics to get you going.
The staffs were very courteous and made sure everything was fine with me.. checked if I wanted to eat anything... Hotel rooms were clean and comfortable..
