Gateway Hotel by Nightcap Plus, hotel in Devonport

Gateway Hotel By Nightcap Plus is conveniently located in the heart of Devonport and the Central Business District, just 13 minutes' drive from Devonport airport and 10 minutes' drive from the ferry...

Very central and close to the Rooke Street Mall and other businesses, wonderful staff, great value for money, very quiet and the food was awesome. With two options of parking makes things a lot secure especially with one carpark needing a code to get out, the lifts are a great choice as that also is good to see not anyone can come in unless you have an access keycard to your floor.

The Formby Hotel, hotel in Devonport

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, The Formby Hotel/Alexander Hotels and Backpackers offers varied accommodation across two adjacent properties in Devonport, 500 metres from Devonport Ferry...

We really liked this hotel accommodation, we had a nice room that overlooked the cherry blossoms on the street below, small, but adequate ensuite, bed was comfortable, heating was good, had a little bar fridge, tea and coffee, jug, cups, it was a very comfortable stopover before catching the ferry the next day. Excellent value for your dollar. The only thing I'd like to point out is, no rooms on ground floor, there isn't an elevator, and the shower is over the bathtub, so could be a problem for some. We ate in the adjoining restaurant and found the service was good and we enjoyed our meals. We'd definitely stay again and highly recommend.

The Cove Tasmania, hotel in Devonport

Featuring a patio with sea views, a private beach area and a garden, The Cove Tasmania can be found in Devonport, close to Lillico Beach and 8.5 km from Devonport Oval.

Exceptional! Beyond all expectations! There are no words to describe The Cove that will do it justice. Put it on your bucket list. Kim, Bruce and their team of incredible staff have created a sanctuary like no other. We stayed in Cliffside Chalet 1 and it was out of this world beautiful - a gorgeous suite with a bathtub, and high-end finishes, and views forever of the ocean. The Cove has stunning communal areas where you can use the 5 star kitchen, tv room with fire, and a fire pit outside overlooking the ocean. We also loved playing pool! We are heading back in 2025 and we can’t wait!

The nicest part of Devonport was along the river and to the beach. The headland walk from the Surf Club and to the lighthouse was beautiful. The cafe at the Devonport Surf Club was really nice, the staff were very friendly and the coffee was excellent - 10/10.

    We liked everything about Devonport.

We liked everything about Devonport. We had an evening meal at the Argosy and lunch at Banjos in the mall. Finding places around Devonport was easy and parking was very good. Lovely views of the Mersey River and beaches from lots of areas. The Antique Emporium and garden centres were excellent.

    We love visiting Devonport.

We love visiting Devonport. It is a clean, tidy town and has all the facilities we need. It is also a great point to go out to places from, for example Tasmazia, Chudleigh, towns and beaches along the northern coast of Tasmania just to name a few.

We based ourselves in Devonport as we were visiting the coast area there We did travel south to do a bit of site seeing about Hobart etc. We travelled over and back on the Ferry which was a short 5 minute drive. You can see most of the coast attractions an easy 45 minute drive from Devonport. Tasmania has excellent playgrounds for kids

The hotel is right in the heart of Devonport. The location makes it easy to walk to shopping or for venturing out for meals. The staff were friendly & helpful. On our way to checking in we noticed something had been spilled on the floor of the lift & when we mentioned it to the front desk it was cleaned up straight away.
