Hosts could not have been friendlier. They went beyond the call of duty. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble to them. My wife and I felt we were treated like royalty at times. So many little extras made our stay at The Old Bank memorable. The breakfasts are to be experienced to be appreciated.
Beautiful beach, lagoon and head land. The surfing was amazing to watch. Great breakfast at SLSC - Great value food and great coffee.
The house we rented was not great especially for the price but it was close walking distance to beach and restaurants.

Crescent Head is a fabulous town to holiday in.
Crescent Head is a fabulous town to holiday in. We have been holidaying in Crescent Head since the mid 70s. It has changed a lot over the years, a few good coffee shops and club and tavern serving good food and clothing shops, post office, news agent, butcher, baker. We graduated from staying large tents in the caravan park to staying in cabins and now renting a house when we stay for extended time.

We love the pristine beach at Crescent Head with the cafe at the beach for breakfast and lunch. We love walking up the spit to see the whales and watch the golfers on one side and surfers on the other. Beautiful views across the bay. Sadly it was very windy when we were there. It is important to choose your accommodation wisely so that you have a lovely spot to retreat to when the wind comes up. The restaurants are limited and close early.

The beach is just a few hundred metres from the town centre and its shops.
The sunset watching the surfing was gobsmackingly beautiful.
I’d recommend staying a while here to soak up the relaxed feeling of Crescent Heads.

Crescent Head is a wonderful location, offering lots of leisurely activities for all holiday makers! We have been coming to Crescent for many years and enjoy our time in this quaint, picturesque beachside location. We look forward to our annual visits. The locals are friendly, the amenities are great and the beach walks are a must for everyone visiting the area. So much to do and most importantly relax and unwind!
Have been coming to crescent head to stay in the caravan park with family for over 30 years, so we don't usually stay in the hotels but this year we needed to do 1 night either end and I must say we absolutely loved staying here. It was very very comfortable, beautiful surrounds, close to the main street area. Staff were friendly and service very good. The simple kitchen facilities were enough and very useful.
Great location proximity to beach and Crescent Head. Quiet position with birds and kangaroos as neighbours, caravan facilities very generous and specious as a “glamping ” option. Owners kindly returned a couple of items we left behind with little fuss, very grateful.
The unit is in a perfect location for a getaway to Crescent Head. On the water and close to everything. The unit is old but cute and comfortable. We like it.
Elders real estate were fantastic at keeping us informed and changing dates due to the flooded road.
a reliably clean and tidy stopover hotel for me, have stayed 4 times now and still happy to recommend. not stylish but that’s not why we choose to stay here
