Safari Lodge (previously known as Jungle Lodge) is located in the remote rainforest region of Cape Tribulation in Tropical North Queensland.

Great ensuite cabin, good size room and nice to have a little terrace outside. Private in the rainforest edge. I would have expected a hairdryer in this standard room though. Great location in Cape Trib. Good shared kitchen and eating area. Good to have games too.

Daintree Deep Forest Lodge, hotel in Cape Tribulation

Surrounded by rainforest jungle in the Daintree National Park, Deep Forest Lodge offers secluded apartments with private bathroom, basic cooking facilities and a barbecue on each verandah.

This is a very special location especially for those keen on their rainforest and its wildlife. Clearly the daily visit by the Cassowaries is a highlight. We also enjoyed the Sunbirds, Wompoo's and Rifle Birds. A great location to explore the Daintree particularly while wanting to cater for ourselves.

Daintree Crocodylus, hotel in Cape Tribulation

Daintree Crocodylus offers a café, bar and outdoor pool. Nestled deep within 21 acres of private rainforest, Daintree Crocodylus Resort is just 10 minutes' drive north of the Daintree River Ferry...

What did I like about the property? Absolutely everything, it was so tranquil. The only reason I left is because I forgot to extend my rented car and they’d rented it to somebody else.. would have extended my stay if not!! An old female cassowary made an appearance and hung around by little stream, so cool!!! Will definitely come back here again. Oh and yummy vegan options too. The night jungle tour was really interesting too!

The road in has been heavily impacted by weather events so a slow trip in and out. One lane in places. We were greeted by a beautiful Ulysses butterfly on arrival and a cassowary chick and its dad the next morning. Very special.

Cape Tribulation and the Daintree Rainforest is one of the most beatiful things I have ever seen. As soon as you cross the river you enter in a different world. The rainforest is so dense that you feel you are in the jungle. And then the beach is really stunning. Just a shame about the salties. If all of this is not enough, the reef there is just amazing. I wish I could spend a year around there

Many restaurants to choose from to eat. Horse riding was fantastic through the rainforest and onto Myall Beach. Beautiful scenery, clean air you can choose to do as much as you like or as little. Just a beautiful quiet part of the world.

Beautiful place … so peaceful, with so much nature to soak in. We took the ferry over and drove the Bloomfield track up to Cooktown and back along the main highway. Actually saw a cassowary with two chicks. No crocodiles though 😁 We stayed at Cape Trib Beach house, which is right on the beach. Food was great and the accommodation was also really good.

Remember to do a small grocery before heading onto the ferry. There's a Woolworths supermarket in Mossman. But if you forget, there's a small friendly grocer in cape trib. Obviously pack insect spray, always carry a bottle of water, sunscreen and a hat. The staff at the restaurants and cafes are very welcoming, friendly, food is amazing, and the whole place is a vibe. Very relaxing, lots of adventures and tours. And the scenery is beyond picturesque.

Cape tribulation is a beautiful place to visit and truly relax with the beauty of the magnificent ancient rainforest and the proximity ro the reef and the ability ro go snorkelling and see the stunnig barrier reef. We drove there which was good as we were able to go to the Daintree discovery centre, and go o amber of boardwalks ,each with their own beauty. The beaches are stunning .Whilst you can't swim here for safety ,you can still swim at waterholes such as Mason's waterhole. We were only there one night and could have easily stayed longer.

Stayed here as the last stop for my parents 3 week trip who were visiting from Ireland. We all fell in love with the place and wished we could have stayed longer! The tropical garden, the beach view and the spacious house were sensational. Dean and & Jodie were so lovely giving us all the info about the area and most importantly how to spot a cassowary! Thank you both so much we had the best time ☺️ Also the lunch in the cafe across the road is amazing too!

Amazing stay at Cape Trib Farm! From the moment we arrived we felt part of the family, every one was so welcoming. The cabins are gorgeous - private and well appointed. The tropical fruit breakfast was definitely a highlight! We were guided through the fruit by Sam and got to try lots of tasty tropical fruits. Merrin gave us lots of recommendations for our stay and even rang ahead of time to warn us about some road closures. Perfect stay!

Easy to find and get there. Lots of lovely discoveries within the property: the discovery trail with with its magic, quirky, statues. The very creative 9 holes mini golf trail in the gorgeous rainforest. The lovely hosts who couldn't be more attentive, looking after you, being helpful and ready to awnser your questions, advice for things to do and have a chat. There's good restaurants nearby, interesting outings, walks, reef Safari eyc.

    · Amazing! Out of the way and a lovely setting! The eco hut meant all sides of your place could be opened up and you could hear animals all day and night! Good separate kitchen with gas grill and cooker! Lovely and helpful family, Andy and Lynette was like a second family. This is the place to go in Daintree rainforest!

Location is excellent - 1/2 way from the ferry to the cape tribulation beaches. Signage good, parking good, gardens lovely, facilities ok. Some getting a bit tired tho - e.g. blind on door in bad state of repair. Activities book needs updating as some venues no longer operating due to covid and staff shortages.

Great location in the heart of the Daintree / Cape Tribulation. The lofts rooms are worth the little extra, they’re like having your own treehouse in the rainforest! Easy enough to drive to. Amazing lagoon style pool, one of the best I’ve used. Staff lovely and helpful, breakfast decent.

The location is unique and absolutely stunning. The whole place looks fresh and lovely after the renovation. The food in the restaurant was fresh, tasty, and plentiful. We haven't been to the Cape Trib Beach House for a few years and were pleasantly surprised. We'll be back many more times!

The location was excellent being very close to Cape Tribulation. Accomodation was a whole house set isolated and alone in a clearing in the middle of the Daintree Rainforest which promoted a feeling of being part of it. Extra large open doors and spacious covered verandah added to this.

Fantastic location just at the end of the road, steps away from the beach! Only a very short drive to where most tours depart in Cape Tribulation. The pool was very nice, the restaurant good, and the cabin we stayed in (St Crispins) was private and so close to the beach

The highlight of the Epiphyte is Matt - although he was just welcoming the new manager of the Epiphyte while we were there who is equally delightful. Matt arranged a night tour for us, he told us of the best places to explore and how to playpen our days.
