Great ensuite cabin, good size room and nice to have a little terrace outside. Private in the rainforest edge. I would have expected a hairdryer in this standard room though. Great location in Cape Trib. Good shared kitchen and eating area. Good to have games too.

Clean little cabin, outdoor kitchen with all that you need.
Host Dean was welcoming and location was just across the road from Thornton Beach.

Cape Tribulation and the Daintree Rainforest is one of the most beatiful things I have ever seen. As soon as you cross the river you enter in a different world. The rainforest is so dense that you feel you are in the jungle. And then the beach is really stunning. Just a shame about the salties. If all of this is not enough, the reef there is just amazing. I wish I could spend a year around there

Many restaurants to choose from to eat.
Many restaurants to choose from to eat. Horse riding was fantastic through the rainforest and onto Myall Beach. Beautiful scenery, clean air you can choose to do as much as you like or as little. Just a beautiful quiet part of the world.

Beautiful place … so peaceful, with so much nature to soak in. We took the ferry over and drove the Bloomfield track up to Cooktown and back along the main highway. Actually saw a cassowary with two chicks. No crocodiles though 😁
We stayed at Cape Trib Beach house, which is right on the beach. Food was great and the accommodation was also really good.

Remember to do a small grocery before heading onto the ferry. There's a Woolworths supermarket in Mossman. But if you forget, there's a small friendly grocer in cape trib.
Obviously pack insect spray, always carry a bottle of water, sunscreen and a hat. The staff at the restaurants and cafes are very welcoming, friendly, food is amazing, and the whole place is a vibe. Very relaxing, lots of adventures and tours. And the scenery is beyond picturesque.

Cape tribulation is a beautiful place to visit and truly relax with the beauty of the magnificent ancient rainforest and the proximity ro the reef and the ability ro go snorkelling and see the stunnig barrier reef.
We drove there which was good as we were able to go to the Daintree discovery centre, and go o amber of boardwalks ,each with their own beauty.
The beaches are stunning .Whilst you can't swim here for safety ,you can still swim at waterholes such as Mason's waterhole.
We were only there one night and could have easily stayed longer.

Loved the icecream shop!
Loved the icecream shop! There are two - we went to the Daintree Icecream shop twice in one day! Cape Trib beach at sunset is magical. We swam at the Masons cafe swimming hole but if you have been to Mossman Gorge I wouldn’t bother. We ate lunch at Thorntons the food was delicious and the view incredible.

PK has got a new admin, and the new staff looks to be much better than previous one.
The lady at the bar was kind enough to quickly organise vegetarian meal for dinner.
Stay: King room with private bathroom. The beds were done nicely and room was clean.
These king rooms have 3 adjacent rooms, so it can get loud if your neighbors are loud..
Location wise - it’s very close to Cape tribulation, rainforest night walk and treetop adventures.
This is one of the few place where you’ll get amazing coverage as there’s a tower on site.
Stayed here as the last stop for my parents 3 week trip who were visiting from Ireland. We all fell in love with the place and wished we could have stayed longer! The tropical garden, the beach view and the spacious house were sensational. Dean and & Jodie were so lovely giving us all the info about the area and most importantly how to spot a cassowary! Thank you both so much we had the best time ☺️ Also the lunch in the cafe across the road is amazing too!
Charming, simple but stylish and comfortable cabin in beautiful setting, looking over the fruit orchard to Mount Sorrow. Breakfast left in Farmhouse kitchen with everything like fresh coffee, tea available. Amazing fruit basket to try and their homemade jams. Flask.of hot water and tea coffee and milk brought to your cabin first thing.. Best thing are all the lovely family and staff making you welcome . We will certainly return if at all possible!
Easy to find and get there. Lots of lovely discoveries within the property: the discovery trail with with its magic, quirky, statues. The very creative 9 holes mini golf trail in the gorgeous rainforest. The lovely hosts who couldn't be more attentive, looking after you, being helpful and ready to awnser your questions, advice for things to do and have a chat. There's good restaurants nearby, interesting outings, walks, reef Safari eyc.
Wildwood was the perfect base for exploring Cape Tribulation and the Daintree Rainforest. Our family of five which included three teenager daughters loved it. The property is private and spacious with multiple spaces for relaxing. We felt like we had the forest to ourselves yet everything was only a walk or 2 minute drive away. We would love to visit again!
Honestly we could not have been more impressed. The setting is astonishingly beautiful, the cabins are luxurious and the breakfast is delicious. We thought the bowl of fruit was supposed to last us two days so we were very pleasantly surprised when we got a whole new one the second day! Amazing value, would definitely go back.
Situated slightly beyond Cape Tribulation village, this property stands as the final stop before the gravel road. However, with a car, traveling to and from was effortless. Our stay was tranquil, complemented by a delightful dinner at a nearby restaurant. The staff was amicable, and the rooms were pristine.
Peaceful and tranquil garden setting, a great base to explore the Daintree Forest. The huts are nicely situated apart from each other, the pool is lovely and the staff are very nice and helpful. Had plenty of meals at the Cassowary Restaurant as the food is the best of all the options in Cape Tribulation.
Highly recommend a stay at Mist while exploring Cape Tribulation! This hidden gem was perfect with everything we needed and more. Excellent location and so serene! The hosts were very welcoming and let us know of all the great spots and places to see. We will definitely be back to stay here again.
The location was excellent being very close to Cape Tribulation. Accomodation was a whole house set isolated and alone in a clearing in the middle of the Daintree Rainforest which promoted a feeling of being part of it. Extra large open doors and spacious covered verandah added to this.
It is such a cool place to stay. Outback cooking area, nice communal areas to chill. Great pool.
Plus your in it, this is The Daintree, this is Cape Tribulation, this what you come looking for. Sensational Place to stay.
Cheers, Piers

The hospitality and warm welcome I got when I arrived. The swimming pool was refreshing and beautiful located. I really enjoyed my stay and will gladly return to this amazing tranquility.
Just get the licenses sorted so you can add more luxury. Greetings from Annemieke.
The room was very clean in such natural nature which was great experience to heard the wildlife .I slept so well and the beach was very close of the hostel.
The mobile reception was very good because the tower is just 50Meters away .
Great tunes, good vibes.
These guys do a great job at accommodating guests in such a remote location.
I appreciated the attention to caring for the environment and raising awareness about running an off grid resort.
