The room was spacious and well laid-out. Beds were comfy but I didn't love the pillows. The outdoor shower was a novelty. The grounds were beautifully maintained. The whole property had a tranquil feel. Kitchen facilities were good, with a full-size fridge.

I love Broome. It has an interesting history but also a tropical seaside town feel to it. The colours are amazing with the red earth and aquamarine coloured water. There are great tourists attractions from marine wildlife watching , meeting artists at the local markets and many great eateries. The weather is hot but the water is warm on most days. Everyday in the dry season is perfect swimmimg weather. At a recent whale watching tour we saw 15 humpback whales in total, migrating down the coast, which was an incredible experience.

Being right in the heart of the Kimberleys meant that Broome was a great stopping off point for the excursions we chose to take. Plus the town itself (China Town) was clean and tidy and reminiscent of days gone by. The staff at the Information Centre were helpful and friendly.

We had a couple of days in Broome on the way to the Kimberleys. Very interesting history and loved Cable Beach. Food was excellent at Cable Beach restaurant and you must go and have a ginger beer at Matso’s Brewery.

The weather was perfect, humid days and balmy nights. The atmosphere of cable beach was contagious it made you feel good. Food was outstanding, Matsu, Spinifex, cable beach, so many awesome restaurants. Willie Creek Pearl tour was a high light, Big Stu was our tour guide, he was a goldmine of information. So much to see and do it’s an all ages destination, 4 days was definitely not enough time to fit it all in.
We are already looking forward to our next trip up to Broome and exploring the areas we didn’t get to.

Broome is very spread out and if you are staying only a couple of days you definitely need a car to access the shops and beaches.
The jetty and town beach are interesting, and the museum is a must see. The markets are good for food and quality textiles, and cable beach and Gantheaume point are beautiful at sunset. The open air cinema is a treat, and they have the best ever choc top ice cream
Location is perfect for the cable beach area being walking distance to restaurants, bars, surrounding hotels and the famous cable beach ! Beautifully well looked after gardens, pool area was very nice with good cooking facilities and spacious apartments with everything you need. Couldnt ask for anything more !
Dawn is lovely and we arrived later than anticipated due to our flight being delayed and she was still available when we checked in. I would recommend this resort to family & friends.
The location of the Oaks Cable Beach is good, about a 15-minute walk from Cable Beach. There is a Broome Explorer bus stop immediately outside, which was very convenient. The resort is set out well, centred on the lagoon pool and with two small additional pools to service those blocks not on the lagoon.
Our room was good, with an open, spacious layout and comfortable beds.
The pools were clean and well-maintained, as were the resort grounds and gardens overall.
Comfort plus. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Views over the mangroves and vast sapphire waters demonstrated the enormity of Broome tides spectacularly. Sunrise from our apartment was gorgeous. Pool was refreshing relaxing, big and beautiful. Location was perfect. Walk to Chinatown, restaurants, galleries and Town beach. I didn’t want to leave. Thanks for such a memorable stay.
Big suite with a separate bedroom. Great bbq facilities in the grounds; inviting pool area. Very friendly, helpful, check in staff. Resort is a little way out of town on the Cable Beach Road but not near the beach, so a car is recommended. Basic breakfast included. Bus stop very close to Resort. Price fairly typical for Broome.
Fabulous self contained apartments, walking distance to Cable Beach, a family friendly pub (spinifex), amazing Cafe (zoo keepers). The perfect week long stay!
