It was obvious the owners took pride in the motel. Little touches like the digital clock being away from a location which would shine in your eyes during the night or finding a bucket with a window wiper for the cars outside the room.

As I grew up In Maldon and was so familiar with the location, it was like heaven. I would walk more when I have more time, and just sit and enjoy the quiet. And the stars at night!! I had forgotten how many there are in the sky.
I catered for myself and it was all just as I wished. Of course it was a very personal stay, so I didn't actually socialize, but from the advertising in Maldon, there is plenty to do there and in the surrounding districts which are only a short drive away.
