Alstonville is a very pretty country town with friendly people and a great atmosphere. Some nice shops and a couple of good coffee places which serve a good breakfast, We prefer to stay here rather than Lismore which is only about twenty minutes away. Dinner at the Plateau Bowls Club is very good.

Alstonville is a beautiful town and very well maintained.
Alstonville is a beautiful town and very well maintained. Plenty of services offered and places to eat for such a small place. Great coffee and bakery. The town pool was immaculate with a heated 25m and heated outdoor 50m pool - early morning swim was a highlight. Great spot to use as a base to explore the surrounding areas. This is a beautiful part of the world and well worth a visit.
Donelle and Rik made us feel so welcome and the property was absolutely beautiful with breath taking views. There was a great choice for breakfast and it was a very generous servings. We went there to relax and that is exactly what we got. 71 Dillons Lane was in a great location, you felt like you were in the middle of nowhere but you were only 5 minute drive from Alstonville town centre. Highly recommend staying at 71 Dillons Lane and look forward to returning.
The location and the most comfortable King Size bed. We had been on the road for four days staying in pet friendly accommodation and were so disappointed with the presentation until we got to Alstonville. Everything was done well and breakfast supplies were waiting in the fridge. Our dog was happy with access on the enclosed deck and the environment under supervision.
The room was very quiet and comfortable for a great night sleep. The room was exceptionally clean and everything was well maintained. The property itself is beautiful. The town Alstonville was a pleasant surprise, with nice cafes and restaurants and generally very pleasant. We will come back to this motel on future stop overs from Sydney to Brisbane.
We had a wedding at Summerland so the hotel was a perfect location. The hotel was very accommodating in allowing us to check in early and check out a little later. We shared a family room with my parents who babysit our baby while we attended the wedding
Great motel with everything we needed for an overnight stopover. Perfectly clean, comfy bed, nice and quiet. Great to find a motel with enough parking space to be able to leave our camper hitched to the car. Alstonville is a beautiful little town.
I liked that the cabins were very private. The facilities were clean and close and we were an easy drive to Ballina, Lismore, Alstonville and the beaches. Our family is spread around that area and we were close to all of them.
The hotel, including our room, was really clean and well looked after. Staff were welcoming. We were on a road trip and had stayed in a few places up the east coast - this was by far the best
It was a little way out of Alstonville and in an idyllic setting. The cleanliness and comfort was top class. 6 acres of land and beyond to view at our leisure.
Perfect location on the outskirts of the historical village of Alstonville and 10 minutes from Ballina. Cottage had beautiful views of green rolling hills.
