The Breakfast was excellent, the chief was very obliging and polite. Also Christina was able to relocate us in to a ground floor unit, so that we didn't have to drag our suitcases up the stairs.

It's an old place but is very well maintained and supremely clean which was very impressive. Even include a litre of milk and biscuits which you don't normally get.

We are from Perth and have visited Albany many times for holidays and short stays, the weather can be sometimes a bit tricky, but even when it is overcast, cold and windy we don't mind, there is always something to enjoy, the secenery is fantastic and very impressive, especially The Gap is always a must for us.
We just love Albany, regardless the sometimes overcast weather.

Albany is a great place to use as a base to explore the south-West of WA. Roughly 4.5hr drive from Perth, Albany is the perfect weekend getaway or why not stay for a while? Lovely drive and plenty of little towns to explore and stretch your legs on the way. Beautiful scenery, particularly the stunning yellow fields (Canola) in Spring time.
Discover local attractions such as the natural bridge or the gap along the rugged but picturesque coastline. The ANZAC memorial, or venture off to the Stirling Ranges, or the quaint little town of Denmark.
So much to see and do...

There are so many things to do in and around Albany.
There are so many things to do in and around Albany. The guide brochure on local walks lists many and we were only able to fit in three on our stay. You could spend a week just on these if you are a serious hiker. The terrain and scenery that they cover make each one unique. The natural attractions such as Natural Bridge, The Gap and The Blow Hole were all worth a second visit. We were also lucky enough to see whales off the coast from these locations.
There are numerous attractions such as the Historic Whaling Station which requires at least half a day to take in. There are also wineries with nice restaurants for lunch in the district.
The Earl of Spence and the Premier Hotel provided hearty meals during our stay.

Have a lot of beautiful scenery to explore. I should have stayed longer. Maybe next time, the time I went is kinda rush the weather not good which makes it hard to take photos and experience the other places due to rain.

There is a bit of roadworks going on in Albany and unfortunately one wrong turn had me doing a big loop - this looks to be quite temporary however.
There is a lot of history in Albany and so many funky little shops that I didn't get a chance to look at, I will definitely be returning to Albany.
Everything seems fairly central, but the most interesting natural wonders are just a bit out of town, which you will need a car for - The Gap and Natural Bridge, and Cozy Corner.. gorgeous little hidden beach about 20 min out of town. Camping site are also well maintained.

Another visit to Albany and never disappointed with the glorious weather put on in autumn. Warm sunny days with cool evenings 😎
Fabulous scenery and great shopping up and down York St.
Wonderful cafe's and great restaurant to choose from. 👌
Cabin was self contained with shower/ toilet/ wash basin, Kitchen, Fridge, TV, Air- conditioner/ heater, which suited our needs as we were just looking for a base in Albany to stay at night while we took in the sites. Staff were very helpful. A nice quiet location easy to get to off the Albany Hiway, yet only 10 minutes into downtown Albany, and close to shopping centre.
The beach view from our neat and clean little chalet was breathtaking. Comfortable beds. We have enjoyed a most comfortable and enjoyable week in Albany. We will recommend Acclaim rose gardens beachside holiday Park to any friends and family travelling to Albany.
