Pool was great, staff even let us in outside of opening hours. Quality and taste and selection of the food was probably the best from all the hotels I ever visited. Food is sourced locally and selection is really wide, you get to order main course and desert like in regular restaurant but in addition to that you have wide variety of selection from a la carte.
Gym was nice too, but mostly commercial machines and not much else like proper squat rack. But it is modern and you get to try lots of new equipment.
There is lots of wellness and sauna option to choose from, unfortunately I did not have chance to try them all as they are not working 24/7.
The staff is really nice, helpful and friendly. Although some seem to be new and not yet perfectly oriented, but that is normal.

The apartment was very nice and spacious, good for four to five people. Kitchen is well equipped. Everything was clean. I appreciate garbage management facilities - there were bins for all different types of trash, incl. bio :)

Everything was perfect. We loved every minute of it. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the view from the living room is amazing.

Nice small town. Great position for trips in nature and hikes in mountains (with short car/bus drive). Prices little higher, better buy food and grocery in Lienzen. Nice nature all around, quiet and peace-full.

Quiet, peaceful location overlooking the wonderful Windischgarsten valley. Comfortable, well appointed and clean accommodation, with plenty of space even for families with children. Nice-to-have extras include a sauna and massage/steam shower in the apartment. But the best thing about it is the beautiful, relaxing, re-energizing location and the cosy apartment. And all looked after by the friendly, helpful owners. We will be back!
The hotel itself was a bit old fashioned and didn't meet my expectations. However, this was all largely compensated by the sauna and wellness area. Very well done, quiet, different sauna possibilities and nice pool area. We had 2 rooms at the backside of the hotel. I think you have other rooms with pool view which are much better. If you like wellness combined with some hiking or cycling, this is certainly a nice place.
Beautiful stylish old building, nicely renovated. Cosy room, comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, all superclean. Delicious breakfast with variety of choices. Dinner was also available in the hotel restaurant. The city itself is very charming and ski slopes in Hinterstoder are just 20 minutes drive. Great value for the money!
Location was just what we wanted. Windischgarsten is a quiet village in the mountains. The house is just across the road from the river and a nice walk from the centre. The host gave us complimentary tickets for activities in the area. The place was very clean and kitchen had all necessary cookware for a short break.
Spacy appartement, very good equipped. Two balconies, comfortable beds. Walking distance to the center of Windischgarsten about 5 minutes, great garden and for sure a splendind view on the mountains (however, we had three days of rain so that we could only imagine the peaks). Nice staff.
Fod was excellent. Room was big enough for 2 adults and one baby. We received on request a baby bed for free. The pool and sauna was very nice! The location of the hotel is really good, perfect for outdoor activities. Beatiful nature around.
The hotel actually looks much better than in the photos. The themed rooms surprised and amused us a lot. Nice restaurant and staff, clean everywhere, no parking problems, breakfast just right.
