The hotel room was equipped with everything we needed, self catered all 4 nights and had oven, toaster, fridge etc, all appliances as well as salt and pepper! and washing up tablets/liquid!! ski storage was also convenient

Lovely room, lovely breakfast, stunning location and Christian the owner was brilliant.
We used the Gasthof Schontal as a base for travelling to and from Kitzbuhel for a days skiing and the Hahnenkahm races. A half hour drive takes you to Kirchberg in Tyrol where there is free parking and a free shuttle train which takes you into Kitzbuhel itself. Perfect
Nice clean hotel with great value for your money.
The rooms where clean. The bed was outstanding to sleep in. I don't like soft beds. Only the pillow was to soft and to small. But that's personal. Loved it.

We landed in Oberau by accident by putting the wrong address...
We landed in Oberau by accident by putting the wrong address in the GPS but it was a great mistake. We never would have found this place on our own and the collection of small villages in the mountains was just charming and very beautiful.

A beautiful small village in the Wildschonau with some restaurants and cafes, a Spar supermarket, a church, ski lifts and cable cars nearby. Centre for walks, tennis and an outdoor swimming pool and the very interesting z Bach farming and local life museum.
Auszeit Aparments is a beautiful brand-new property, finished tastefully and with a great attention to detail. We are a family of four and stayed in one of the two bedroom units which was extremely spacious. All apartments have wonderful unobstructed view over the Ski Juwel resort and the sunset.
Although the balconies are not yet finished, the place is fully functional. Christina - the owner is probably the nicest host we’ve ever had in Austria.
This was one of the best hotel stays my family ever had. Everything about the hotel is wonderful. Beautiful setting, warm and friendly staff throughout, very nice rooms, a pool, and even a small game room for the kids. The restaurant was good and it was nice to do both breakfast and dinner there. We had a 3 bedroom suite on the top floor and it was nicely remodeled, had tons of space and was very clean. Simply wonderful.

Really nice and clean hotel. Staff is Very helpful. Parking in the basement, is really nice on a hot Day. The hotel is placed close to the city ( walking distance)

The owners are wonderful and helpful. The breakfast is perfect and has a wide variety for the smaller hotel. There is a lovely T-bar hill next door for some ski/snowboard runs and the ski bus is 10m from the front door. Dinner in the nearby hotels is easy to access and good quality. A very enjoyable stay!
We had a stopover at this hotel before heading to Italy. The rooms where super clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. It’s located in a beautiful area and I would highly recommend to explore a bit if there is time. I would definitely recommend staying here, it offers perfect value for money!!
The location is central, right next to the Oberau church. You can walk to the kids playground of Drachtental or supermarket to get bread. We had a room on the 3rd floor and could get a fabulous view of the Wildschonau/Auffach valley
We enjoyed the stay very much. Room was clean and the space for the whole family was absolutely OK. The time spent here was really nice. Food at the restaurant was excellent too. We can recommend to anyone travelling to Wildschönau.
The apartment is very clean, spacious and modern. Well situated in Oberau with quick bus links to the ski resorts.
The owner is very welcoming, friendly and always available to help with anything.

We love this hotel. The family that runs it, is amazing. Everything is there from various food options, passes for the local bus/gondola, sauna, Kids pool, beautiful views and if you have a 4 legged friend, super welcoming.
