Hotel Platzl is situated in the village of Auffach in the Wildschönau high valley, just 120 metres from the cable car to the Schatzberg ski resort. Very nice hotel in a beautiful landscape. Super friendly staff with a warm welcome. Nice rooms with anough space for motorcycle riders. Good motorcycle parking with weather protection. Fantastic restaurant and glorious breakfast. Certainly recommended.

Hotel & Alpin Lodge Der Wastlhof is located in the Wildschönau area, directly at Markbachjoch Cable Car and the ski slopes. We loved the hotel. Staff were so friendly and went out of their way to help, especially Margit. the indoor and outdoor pool were so nice and the sauna was a hit also. Location is superb as it’s just across from the button lift. We would love to go back.

Surrounded by the majestic Kitzbühel Alps, this small and intimate country house hotel enjoys a wonderful location in the Roggenboden holiday village in Oberau/Wildschönau. Rainer and Uschi made us feel part of the family after just a few days - they made the extra effort to pick us up from the bus stop, gave an attentive, personal service and were there for all our questions. Would recommend very highly and will definitely be back!

Just 400 metres from the Niederau Cable Car, this 4-star hotel in the Wildschönau Valley is surrounded by mountains and forests. It offers a spa area with 2 indoor pools. Food was really good and well presented. We had a choice of three main courses each night and always a beautiful soup. Room was very spacious, with a lovely view of the snow covered mountains. Immaculately cleaned each day. The Spa facilities were perfect to use after a day skiing(pool, sauna and steam room). The bar had a really good atmosphere and the staff Andrea and Manu provided an excellent friendly service. The spacious ski/boot room was ideal to store our gear on an evening.

Surrounded by the Kitzbühel Alps, Hotel Bergkristall is set in a peaceful location, 2 km from the Schatzberg Ski Area. Breakfast was excellent with the range and choice of food and drinks. Service was fantastic too.

Featuring a spa area with a sauna, a steam bath and a hot tub, the Hotel Schneeberger is located in the centre of Wildschönau-Niederau. The next ski lift is 300 metres away. The hotel was pristine--super clean. The rooms were large and very comfortably appointed with wonderful balconies and amazing views of the gorgeous surrounding landscape. The breakfast buffet had a nice array of breads, cereals, nuts, jam, scrambled and boiled eggs, plus sliced meats. And the coffee was excellent! Niederau is a small village with several hotels but not much else. It appeared that nearly every hotel has its own restaurant so finding food in town wasn't a problem. We went for the Almatreib in Auffauch which was about a 10 minute drive from the hotel. It's a beautiful little town to relax and enjoy the lovely views.
