Very nice location but the room was dark with old furniture. I am affraid of spiders so I wasn't thrilled that there was lots of them when we arrived. The garden and restaurant were great. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast there with amazing view of the lake.

What made this hotel truly exceptional was our lake view from the large and spacious balcony and the amazing breakfast. Not only the food was amazing at the breakfast, but the view overlooking the lake with perfect lighting, and outdoor dining--really perfection! We also enjoyed the private beach access. It is a nice plus that there are toilet facilities at this beach. Not only did we swim and sun during the day, but we went to the beach at night to watch the Perseids meteor shower and it was quite the show. The lakeside was quite dark with no ambient lighting so the viewing conditions were ideal. Thank you for the hospitality, we would come again in a heartbeat!

Very friendly staff, very informal atmosphere!
The best thing for us was the treatment of dogs. It seemed like our dog was part of the family as well, we could take him to the restaurant and also to the beach (as long as he behaves well, of course).
Food and breakfast were good.

Very pleasant facility, extremely helpful and competent staff. Great location, excellent room. The hotel facilities and rooms were extremely comfortable, functional and perfectly clean. The view from the room is excellent. Excellent sleep on a comfortable bed. The all-day diet was accommodating. There are many places to sit quietly with a view in the hotel and its surroundings. An excellent place for rest and relaxation.

This Hotel is quite nice, great breakfast, a nice view and was easy to get to. The spa and sauna was included with our stay, but we did not get a chance to use it, as we were busy travelling around.
The hotel has a great location (if you have a car- it’s upper Austria, forget public transport) and it’s close to one of the nicest lakes in Austria, also close to all the touristy spots

We were here in the low season most things were closed, the lake is superb and great in the summer however the village needs a little more in way of evening recreation perhaps another restaurant and a bar.
The public bathing spot is not to be missed its clan and has all the facilities you need
There is a local SPAR supermarket which has everything you need with ample parking

Beautiful place with clear like sea water. However this place is not dog friendly. Dogs are not allowed anywhere around the lake which is very sad. So if you are looking for a place where you can enjoy time with your dog, look elsewhere.

It is a nice choice if you want to cycle around the lake or go hiking to the mountains nearby, but apart from nature there is not much to do around. Ah, you can see alpaca farm or take a boat trip on the lake.

Accommodation met our expectations, was in good accessibility and in a pleasant environment. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The whole accommodation was very nice. The landlord is very friendly and helpful. We got to know the "Österreichische Romantikstraße" - very nice places and you can make all trips from this accommodation. We always had a good rest in the evening. The living room offered good comfort for whole family, the bathroom was good with soft towels.
This place near Attersee is just wonderful if you like water and mountains. Although the hotel is next to the road, it was peaceful there. The stuff is professional, very kind and helpful. If you also eat at the restaurant, all I had was delicious and their apple cake is just top one.
If you’d ask, what did i like about staying in “Strandhotel”, the most honest answer would be „Everything“. I really mean it. location, staff, cleanness, breakfasts, transport communication, preise.
We were lucky to spend whole week in this paradise.
