The location of Hotel Steinerwirt is perfect if you want to be reasonably close to the skiing but also right within the town for restaurants and bars. Easy walk from the train station. Great spa area with sauna and hot tub (make sure you ask them to keep it closed so it's hot!). Friendly staff who were happy to help with requests like robes and keeping our milk in their fridge. Plentiful breakfast, with a variety of buffet items, plus you can choose how oyu'd like your eggs and coffee each morning. We ate in the restaurant once (à la carte) and the food was AMAZING - definitely try the goulash!

Staff in the hotel are superb. Pavel in the bar is a super chap and makes an excellent cocktail, especially a fab Negorni. In the restaurant and at reception everyone couldn't be more helpful. Really enjoyed it and the food is perfectly good.

Their breakfast is stunning! I loved all they served. The room was clean, sleeping room for parents was big, the bed was comfy. Kitchen was sufficient for one week. If you travel by car, everything is very close.
VAYA Post Saalbach is located directly in the centre of Saalbach at the main square, within 150 metres of 3 ski lifts to access the surrounding slopes.
Upon arrival we were given keys to an appartment that had not been cleaned at all. Had to spend the night in another appartment and move the next day to the one we were originally given. Not a great start to a holiday! Apartment was new and nice but already after few weeks of use there was a lot of dust under the beds, so cleaning is not at the level it should be. Kids enjoyed the pool area. Hotel seemed to be fully booked but it was very peaceful and quiet, so we enjoyed that.
Everything was excellent. The location is very nice, the view is great, the house is very clean and the owner extremely nice. Our room was cleaned every day. Breakfast was very good and diverse. Nothing less than expected from a "landhaus" in Austria.
Would totally recommend this location for someone who wants a nice and comfortable stay, that feels like home kind of place which you will never get from a big hotel.

Sweet family business with lovely facilities and heartwarming hospitality, Everyone excepted us with a smile. The breakfast was rich and diverse. The rooms are clean and spacious. The restaurant inside the hotel is wonderful. Parking was very convenient with an elevator to the Zimmer floors.
Very nice appartment in great location. Host is kind and friendly person, everything was very clean. We liked that appartment more than 4/5 star hotel rooms because of lot of space and how clean it was. Beautiful view from balcony. We will return here again..
