This was our second stay in this hotel. Everything was perfect - the room was spotlessly clean, very spacious, nicely decorated and offered a spendid view of the mountains. The hotel staff were exceptionally attentive, helpful and very professional. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. In our opinion, the hotel should have an additional star as the quality is that of a four-star hotel. We hope very much to return !

The hotel is beautiful and surrounded by nature and great for guests with dogs. Customer service was exceptional, I notified the hotel ahead of time I had a dog and when we got to the room there were dog treats, bowls and blankets which was an incredibly thoughtful.

Visit the bakery at the city center, they do have a lot of local specialties. Also, beware that all grocery shops are closed on Sundays, so if you arrive on Sunday and you need to buy food, your best move would be to go to the gas station for some basics.

Umhausen was the perfect location in Oetztal Valley for us...
Umhausen was the perfect location in Oetztal Valley for us since we were using public transport. It is in the middle of the valley so getting to any location was pretty quick. It is also a bit quieter but with plenty of things to do right there.

Nice village with really narrow roads, not easy driving with car. Two markets (Spar, Hofer), bakery, problem was to find open restaurant for lunch, pizzeria closed two days during week, some hotel restaurant not possible to use. Petrol station there as well. Nice people greeting when meet :-). Cca 20 minutes to Solden ski area by car.

Umhausen is a great location if you want to go skiing in Solden and save money on the accommodation. There are a few restaurants that serve traditional Austrian food, but there are not many options beyond that. The food is great though especially if you are a meat-eater, and there are plenty options for vegetarians.
A very modern high standard apartment-hotel facilities. Late arrival possible after advising them so no stress. Very well equipped and comfortable 1BHK with all you can need. Top class relaxing area at the 4th floor comprising of swimming pool, sauna and cosy relaxing areas. Underground safe parking for large cars. Very cool bar to rejoice at the end of the day. Very lovely staff who kindly changed our room (because of the big wooden hut barring super view over the mountains at the 1st floor) .
The hotel is well located and is perfect for going skiing in Soelden. Staff is very kind and helpful. The hotel has also a cosy lounge and SPA, which make it a great place to relax after a long day of skiing. Another good characteristic to mention is the breakfast. They offer all you need to fuel up for the day. You can even cook your own eggs. Explorer is totally worth it!
Great location. We were able to park the car at the hotel and walk everywhere. The view from the deck was nice, but I wish we had a second or third floor room for an even better view. The whole place was extremely clean and the staff was always very helpful and welcoming. I don't think I'll have a need to visit again, but I would stay here again if we did so.

Great location at umhaousen, 30 to 60 min drive to all attractions / activites in otztal.
Place is super clean, very well equipped and very suitable for families.
In addition, you also get free Otztal summer card which give a lot of benifts ( free daily cable car ride, free area 47 entry, free aqua done entry and more).
Everything, we were impressed with the hotel. The service, facility and stuff were amazing. The hotel is very well equipped for the different activities. Outside is a big parking place. And the best thing is breakfast! They are offering a lot of different type of food, But they is option to prepare own omelets.
Modern , cosy , well equipped , for family there are two big apartments combined , balcony , sauna , free parking , good breakfast in the morning , very helpful and nice hosts. Regarding location need to take into account that there’s is driving on mountain road from Umhausen to get to the place .
I really enjoyed the stay in the hotel: the room was newly renovated, the bed was comfortable, breakfast was great. We had a room with a balcony with a totally stunning view. The staff was friendly and on-demand adjusted check-in time. Breakfast offered a broad choice of meals and was delicious.
The apartment has everything you need for a pleasant, comfortable stay. It is very clean, it was almost as if we were the first guests ever 😀. It is a very short walk from the apartment to the bus stop and supermarkets. Umhausen is more quiet and rural then for instance Sölden, which we prefer.

New building in the middle of the Ötztal, so you can come quite good to the skiing an hiking areas, I would say. Also got a good price. The breakfast is really opulent and you can mix a lot of thing by yourself. All in all a good stay to explore the Ötztal!

Words cant describe how beautiful this new apartment / hotel , it is one of the best places I have every stayed in. staff very friendly , they will offer you complementary tokens for free drinks. the parking is free of charge which is great.
Friendly staff, good breakfast and also very good diner a la carte if you want to. Rooms are very fine in traditional Tirolean style. Enough parking space in front of the hotel. Price/performance very good!
Hotel is very nice, rooms are quite spacey. WiFi is very good. Parking is available on the side (1 EUR/day). Place to store skies + stand to work / repair them. Excellent breakfast!
