Price-quality rate is completely normal. We absolutely recommend the breakfast, for sure worth money. The room was great, completely according to the booking details. Even though we arrived later in the evening everything was arranged.

Great little village with all the comforts one needs. We had dinner in two different Gasthaus of the village and people were very welcoming and helpful! Portions are huge and very tasty!!
Great place for local walks or for a day-hike. We also went for a stroll to the playground with our kids and relaxed by the lake. Everything around is very tidy and well kept .

I booked this place on our way from Croatia back to Germany, stayed only one night. We arrived very late, but check-in was very smooth. I communicated with the host and she waited us until we arrived 30-min after my estimated arrival. The hosts were very kind and nice. rooms are large for us a family of 4. We would love to visit this place at another chance and stay longer.

We were visiting relatives, so had a good reason for being there. It is quite a backwater and not a tourist hot spot, but would be ideal for a stopover for those travelling on the motorway towards Slovenia. Ubelbach though has a very attractive main street, several good places to get authentic Austrian cuisine, and very beautiful forest walks (the Saengersteig is a favourite). We arrived in time to witness their Michaeli street festival, where the locals wear their nation dress and enjoy the music and singing of hugely talented musicians. I think this would be a good place for mushroom hunters ..... we found lots of chanterelles.
Very cute old hotel in little Austria village. We enjoyed our short stay here. Kids have used the outside pool which was an amazing attraction for them. The host was very polite and helpful. We had a wonderful breakfast. Really recommend trying.
