The hotel and grounds were in a very nice location on the lake. The spa was the best part. The boathouse restaurant was pretty good too. Staff were very kind, Mainly German spoken with some English depending on members of staff that were able to help me fill in my broken underused high school German.

Position was very good for my business exigencies. The room was wide, spacious, neat and clean. Staff very kind and helpful. We ate at the restaurant and it was also very good with typical food. Breakfast was good. Parking lot behind the hotel very useful as we came by car and pretty late in the evening.

This was a perfect hotel on every level. From the room which had everything we could need, to the views from the window over the lake. There was plenty of places to just sit and have drinks and relax whether it be in the gardens or indoors on the comfy sofas. We were able to use the kayaks to go for a trip out on the lake which was fabulous. Great coffee machine in the room, but as a tea drinker the staff very kindly sourced me a kettle and tea. Staff were very friendly. Lots of choice at breakfast and a great restaurant where we could sit outside by the edge of the lake.
