Hotel is large and during our stay busy. Coach delivery of guests during evening and morning collection resulted in a lot of people traffic. Breakfast was good choice, evening meals were fine. Parking outside was busy Motorcycles and car parking at times and walkers enjoyed the hotel. The Hotel is located on a hill and for some walking may prove hard outside hotel grounds.

The apartment was very cozy and spacious. The object is a beautiful old building, but marvelously renovated. From the coffee house in the ground floor it smells like fine coffee and cakes. The restaurant looks intimate and authentic, although we haven't tried it. The location is central, the view to the old city center, very picturesque but quiet and calm. Good location to reach the Ankogel ski resport easily.

We had a big apartement with 4 bedrooms. The kitchen was very well equipped. We had 3 toilets and that was very comfortable. We loved the sauna. Most of the beds were very comfortable.

location is excellent for skiing on molltaler gletcher or ankogel ski resort, or hiking trips to nearby moutains ,you can find everything you need in the village -two supermarkets ,sports shops , restaurants , indoor -outdoor pools -sauna etc.
We had a room with balcony with flowers at the front side of the hotel. Busstop in front of hotel. Very quiet location .... except for one thing: the nearest churchbell will ''greet the new day'' at 6 AM (but remains further silent). Good beds. Room is clean. You can sit on the balcony. Room is somewhat ''old styled'' but it has its charme. Good breakfast with choice of lots of selfmade jams and honey's. Lots of cheese and hams, fruits, etc. If you need an extra, just ask for it.
I enjoyed very much the location, the mountains, the rest, and the atmosphere was excellent. To taste the Austrian nature and culture was very beneficent. The communication with the hosts was excellent and the servant maid was also friendly and helpful. They gave me detailed and helpful information about the apartment and the surroundings. And it was a good price/quality ratio. My son and myself had an unforgettable time in Obervellach, Carinthia.
In hiking the Alpe Adria Trail I stayed in many lovely Pensions, but this was one of the best. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and I especially appreciated the rolling shutters to keep out the light and the (minimal) street noise at night. Margot was a delightful hostess, and I was duly impressed with how she has almost singlehandedly managed the hotel for many years. The breakfast was excellent, and the price was very reasonable.
The staff at this hotel are really kind and work hard to make your stay very comfortable. The food is very nice, we stayed half board and the evening meals were very generous. The kitchen team are also very good at catering for food allergies. Its great to see the investment being made into this lovely hotel and we wish the team every success.
This hotel was right in the centre of Obervellach, the room was lovely although compact (perfectly good for one night), very quiet, nicely looking courtyard and a really good breakfast. It was also nice to sit in front of the hotel and have a drink. The staff were very friendly. Very convenient with bikes and right by the Alpe- Adria cycle route

it is a very well kept, family run hotel in a small village. The building is old yet futnished with new, renovated and modern elements. We had half board, all meals were home made from local ingredients. The hotel is immaculately clean, staff was very kind.
Nice hotel with 2/3 separate building and big garden with terracce and kids playground. Everything was clean and room cleaning was done everyday. Staff was helpfull.
Every room has its own bathroom, so it is more like a comfy hotel, where you can meet in the living room and cook in the kitchen. The view is just amazing.
