The view was incredible the breakfast was delicious, all was local food and taste was incredible.

It was perfectly clean. Divinely comfortable bed and view from the window. We visited when everything around was closed due to the low season, but this did not stop us from enjoying the peace and quiet.

We were in transit only one night. Is not a luxury hotel, but is a very good value for money option. It looks a bit outdated, but was clean, comfortable, the area is very nice, you have a picturesque view from room or balcony. Also we had included dinner and breakfast which was good. The owner really hospitable and nice.

The locals are friendly and helpful. From a culinary perspective this is one of the best places in Austria - the Slow Food movement is at home here and you can get fantastic yet affordable local specialties (we got here in time for the "Knödel Wochen" at the Steineckenalm). The landscape is incredibly beautiful and ideal for hiking, with many levels of tour difficulty. The locals were more accurate than hiking maps in advising which paths are best for ascent/descent (like from the Obergailalm Lake up to the Mittagskofel)! We hope that the Lesachtal region soon recovers from the bark beetle plague - right now it's better to hike above the tree line.

The Lesachtal (wood valley) is a beautiful valley with many villages on the main road, and many on either side of the valley. The nature is amazing, the air quality is even better at 5-10 dgC cooler. Good local food and water, very friendly people. Excellent for hiking and mountaineering, chilling out, and refilling your batteries.
Wow! I will start with this"wow",the location its magic,everything was perfect,the manager of the hotel was very kind with us,we arrived at location late in night, he send us on WhatsApp instructions how to check in, without disturbing anyone on that hour.
Thank you for for accepting us, late in night,in comparation with other hotel's they've refused us.

We were very friendly welcomed by our host. A very kind and helpful man. The view from the apartment is stunning, there are no words for it. The apartment has everything you need and is comfortable. Nature in the valley is very beautiful and not very touristic as many other places are. There are many options for walking. There is a very good restaurant in Liesing with a kind owner. And there is a posibility to visit Italy or Slovenia. We would go back any day.
